Day 1 of quitting smoking. Can already tell it's going to be hard.

Does anyone know who owns the black 34 gtt around albany creekish area? Seen it a few times, has an SAU sticker on the rear quarter. Would like to know what kit is on it

Morning Mangs,

Keen for dinner tonight. @Boz: Whats the dress code for the Fox on a Wed night?

Also, I run 595-SS as well. Rain = shit. All I have to do is look at the throttle and it breaks loose.

Next time try Khumo KU31s. They are legit *finger snap*

I'll be going back to them once I burn though these SS's.

Thongs are OK; I'll just tell them the steel caps are made of carbon fibre. Should get away with it.

I'll rock the non high vis purple mankini instead.

No Cassie at Powerlink. Disappoint :(

McFly, tell them to pick their act up!

Maybe she is avoiding you? :P

I have never had a problem with the SS. I have to provoke the car to make it break traction..then 4wd come along and sorts it out

Alvin magically makes 800 hp when it rains .

I am not saying they are a bad tyre by any means. OK, I did say that, but only in the wet. Even then, for what you pay for them, they are a damn good tyre.

But I can get Khumo KU31s for the same price (option 1), and they are a little bit better in the dry, and worlds better in the wet. So to me, that makes the SS's shizenhouzen :P

RSRs on the other hand are f*cking magic. I want to marry them, and have their babies.

Liquid Horsepower

Hahaha so does Susan :D

A match made in heaven perhaps? :P

    • This. The R34 handbrake icon DOES come up when the brake fluid level is low. You might be sitting right on that threshhold. I have been down this diagnosis path and this was the solution (and it was pretty much as full as your picture is to begin with).
    • Unfortunately the cavaet to that is that while any scan tool should be able to read the code, the workshop will need a consult plug to OBD socket adapter. You don't have a location on your profile, where are you based?
    • @Haggerty this is your red flag. In MAP based ECU's the Manifold pressure X RPM calculation is how the engine knows it is actually...running/going through ANY load. You are confusing the term 'base map' with your base VE/Fuel table. When most people say 'base map' they mean the stock entire tune shipped with the ECU, hopefully aimed at a specific car/setup to use as a base for beginning to tune your specific car. Haltech has a lot of documentation (or at least they used to, I expect it to be better now). Read it voraciously.
    • I saw you mention this earlier and it raised a red flag, but I couldn't believe it was real. Yes, the vacuum signal should vary. It is the one and only load signal from the engine to the ECU, and it MUST vary. It is either not connected or is badly f**ked up in some way.
    • @Haggerty you still haven't answered my question.  Many things you are saying do not make sense for someone who can tune, yet I would not expect someone who cannot tune to be playing with the things in the ECU that you are.  This process would be a lot quicker to figure out if we can remove user error from the equation.
