I guess so, Were they part of the "Other Team"? You know when they talk of Touring car racing of early last decade they use the phrase,

"There were the Skylines and then there was everyone else"

Haha, thats pretty funny. I've lived in Melbourne for all of my 26 years and not once have I been to Thomastown, Lalor,Epping or Mill Park. Like I said, I have no idea where any of them even are.

But yeah, I had no idea about anything to do with VLs. too young I spose

I caught the car bug from an Alpina C2 BMW. Then when I discovered Skylines that was it for me. There were suddenly no other cars which interested me. Except perhaps the Supra.

and if all else fails its a good old Exa, or a rajab tuned sumfinorother.

But seriously the number of worked cars to male ratio is exceptionally high.

For example, we're always there on sundays near edgars rd quix (nex to tha supamarket) workin on cars n shit, and every car that goes by that's dun up slows down hasa look, sometimes has a chat, and sometimes u get the occasional good lookin chick walk by and have a chat too... is all good fun.

The scene is well n turely there in thomo/epping... it just needs to get organised... like a Northsyeeeeed SAU VIC :D

yeah, there are JETs driving around everywhere these days.

but my point is that when the VLs were dominating the streets, there was plenty of drag, thrashing & burnout action back then but now everyone only likes to look good while driving in their jap import with big 5" chrome exhaust tip ;-)

Funky,

are u talking about Gladstone st? if so, i always drive past when going home from Bi-Lo.

    • Does it also misfire equally when revving?   Josh is very correct in what you should do. The coilpack harness wiring loom itself is a known problem due to its age and the number of heat cycles it has gone through. Throwing parts at a vehicle to diagnose the issue isn't a smart or good way to do it. Secondly, you may have a bad coil pack, you pop replacements in, they fix that issue, but messing with the harness breaks it, so the issue persists. So now you think "well it wasn't the coil packs" and have to continue chasing your tail, potentially swapping back in your shit coil packs and returning the good ones (yes, I've seen people do this because 'it wasn't the problem' and they want to save money). And suddenly, you've got two issues with the same symptoms...   Diagnose, don't use the spare parts shotgun.
