Problem: Wiring Gauges?

Okay. My gauge are working and they light up when they do the ''dance'' but after that. there's no light. So my + and - are fine.

So I'm down to:

Orange wire : Ignition

Yellow wire: Illumination

I saw an orange wire coming from the Cig ligther plug so i wired my ignition wire there.

And then there was a yellow wire not too far away so I strapped my yellow to this one.

It didn't work out.

So I let my orange wire to the cig lighter plug but I put my yellow wire to my radio harness illumination wire.

Didn't work .

Anyone can help me out? what is the difference between those 2 wires? which one should be the wrong connected?

So, My gauges were working perfectly before I mount my radio faceplate and blow 6 fuses..!

Here was my combination:

-Illumination on the triple gauge harness

-Ignition on the radio harness

-Ground on the same ground as my radio ( someone told me that could be the problem)

-Constant to the constant of my radio.

So I disconnected my ground for my gauges and replaced the fuses that blow ( #2 and #23( audio and elec parts)) but my radio still won't play. So Could my problem be the IGNITION and CONSTANT?
