what are you thinking to salvage it?

because theres alot of jap wreckers whom stock used R34 GT-R parts.

if you think about it......there ARENT, that many R34 GT-Rs in australia.................

i want a damaged one so i can slowly fix it up as a project car

alot of wreckers with 34 gtr parts?? who

Have a look around http://www.nisswreck.com.au

They are located in South Australia, have a crap load of Skyline's being dismantled etc.

I think they bring alot of their damaged cars in from Japan to salvage for parts.

after a 34 gtr has a acco there aint much left.. from my previous experiences!!

this is the car i looked at every day for months.. was in the woy woy police impound and i parked in the multi story car park behind!

My guess is that people here with R34 GTR's are not their daily rides so even if there are plenty in this country, they are seldomly being driven, hence, no wrecks.

For all the ppl I know who has them, only one person uses their car for business.

Terry! lol

that car got airborne and hit a pole at well in excess of 100kph...

such a tragic loss of life and car

people with 34 gtr's would usually be a little older and mature than ur average gtt/gtst driver so fewer would be smashed.

yeah thats one way of putting it.....

like i said, the R34 GT-R.... is a car which the people who want it... (generally young people) cant afford it... but the people who can actually afford it....go for something more exotic or more luxury.

pretty much every late model porsche or Merc & even BMW owner could afford one.....im sure people see Merc SL500s around....

they cost 5 - 6 times the price of an average 60,000$ R34 GT-R.

your right in a way i guess

    • It's funny, as Ive seen plenty of people use them in cheap builds on YT. And they actually go okay, even though a lot of other maxspeedingrods stuff is terrible. Those turbos seem reliable enough, the only part being, a good quality turbo that is "identical" to it, will out perform it day in and day out. In both a lower boost threshold, and the ability to flow more air at the same boost pressure. As a cheap cheap replacement, not a terrible choice. For cheap and shouldn't blow in a day, not terrible (like other eBay/Temu turbos) for low cost and still decent performance, that's where the question comes in to play from the results I've seen. I'd actually find it hilarious to buy one, and strap it to a paddock basher or some other cheap as POS originally NA car, and send it to the moon!
    • The maxpeedingrods turbo is cheap and bolts on to stock parts. I think you just need a bigger silicone coupler for the intake. Its a cheap china turbo, but it's been running on mine for almost 3 years at 16-19 psi.
    • What do they look like right after you've tried to start it with everything connected? Also post photos of what they actually look like.
    • Also wanted to say, my new spark plugs are blackened looks like it's very rich. I have splitfire coilpacks but stock coilpack loom and ignitor. I tried directly grounding the ignitor ground to body as well.
