I think while they might come off as abrasive Craig, they are only giving their input as to what they personally see as right/wrong with the club. Nothing bad against that, you won't ever please everyone but it's always good to listen to criticism :)

Screw you Craig, asshole. I don't see why people have to come here and post about seeing nice talent tomorrow :)

On a more serious note, I did mean to speak to you about the club today Ruby, more-so about the constitution and the fact I wanted to take a look at it :bunny: Guess I'll wait till final print

was directed at the likes of darren/steve p just to name a few,

and no, im not joining.

just dont understand why people spend time whinging about something they want nothing to do with?

clearly ur not paying any attention to the content of our posts, but whether its general positive or negative feedback. some people just dont see the value in playing devils advocate. its forces people into addressing problems they havnt yet forseen. trying to save u guys wasting ur time.

i still dont get this 'ur not going to join so ur opinion is void' attitude. i dont own a skyline so any experience i have or give to a mate shouldnt be listened to using that logic. :)

why are SOME ''people'' going out of there way to make it clear that they will not be joining?

do you think the organizers really give a f**k if you dont join?

geez, i might call up Holden tomoz and whinge to them for hours on end to stop making commodores, just coz i wont buy one.

fark me dead.

Yeah, it was a long day yesterday and I still didn't get around to saying hi to a few people ... including you :P Too many distractions.

Luke, you wanna PM me an email address for yourself and I'll send you a PDF copy of things. :(

Nathan, you were another I spotted yesterday but didn't get around to saying 'hi'.

This should be the final post I'll make in this thread, as a fresh one has been started to advise how the club is going. Namely:

The next meeting is scheduled for the Sunday 10th May @ 1pm and is most likely to be held at the Ministry of Bass premises (to be confirmed), where the ins and outs of the club will be discussed again and people have another chance to voice their constructive comments/input.

On the Sunday 24th May @ 1pm (Ministry of Bass premises to be confirmed) paid members will then vote for Executive Committee members. The interim committee will go thru the results thereafter and the highest voted positions will be notified to the nominees. Once the committee is in place, we can put names to documents and get paperwork submitted.

So there are two more chances for people to attend and have a say and join, as well as the fact that Kellie and I have offered and received enquiries via PM, MSN and mobile, as well as the chance to speak to me yesterday at AJD which many people did. The non-believers have had their chances and have further chances to talk to me about this, but have chosen not to. SAU SA is becoming a reality now ... and about bloody time! :(

I have emailed the docs off to those who have PMed me their email addy. I am still waiting on a few to confirm their email address ... if you don't have my PDFs, then I may not have your address yet.

:(

Cheers got it Ruby :D

Sweet! :P

My inbox is getting full again. I'm cleaning it out as I'm certain I've gotten back to everyone ... including those who I responded to this morning: Inline6, Talbo, Heslo, Dohmar, Dion, Bezender, Jase.

If I have not and I've missed you, please nudge me to do so and I will email you the PDF docs.

;)

So we constantly dont get asked to join, AND after seeing the children in here, do you blame us??

The organizers SHOULD "give a f**k" if we dont want to join, and clearly you havnt even put a thought into what i said earlier have you?? Just so you dont have to go back a page i basically said the money the club gets from its members is the clubs bank balance, no members = no money, no money = NO up front paid private track days, NO advertising materials eg banners and shirts, stickers and so on wont be printed up front and in stock at any time. Think about it champ, think about the general everyday runnings of a business and the time and effort the commitee members are going to put into it, its not just a matter of 10 SAU newbies that have 20,000 posts between them in the last 2 years getting together and starting a "club".

I fail to see how your comparison is anywhere near what im on about, Your stating they should "stop making commodores", Please point out where i have said "Stop trying to start this club, just because i wont join"?

So your whinging about the "apparent whingers" and im one of them?? Once again, I am meerly trying to help the "organisers" with ideas, and helping to imform them of what is needed, and who they should go to to get support. I've also had people PM me thanking me for what i've written, as its basically what they have been trying to say or couldnt say it for whatever reason. So really your whinging AND stating your not joining?? I dont see any constructive critism anywhere from you!!

I agree mate, too many people jump to conclusions and are sooooo one eyed its not funny, They think we are out to attack everything they or people bring up, Im sorry to those who have a imagination the size of Big Ben, but i'd rather think logical and fall from 20m than fall 800m from my imagination.

Anyways it seems as tho the club is finding its feet, which is good to see. One thing to remember also for the people who WILL become a member, the first year is going to be the toughest and will need all members to be patient, the money in the account wont pay for too much initially, so therefore there might be limited booked events, whereas the second year i would suggest the Commitee to organize a yearly calendar of events so people have time to organize days off to attend 6-12 months in advance. and finally just remember for people to take you serious, BE PROFESSIONAL!!

    • Stock ECU (or more accurately stock tune) absolutely refuses to go over 10psi and behaves like you have seen. The Nistune is the same if it is the stock tune. If the Nistune chip has been tuned, the resulting tune could be literally anything for any combination of parts. The Nistune just makes the stock ECU Tunable.
    • So stock ECU does not like anything above 10 psi?  That Nistune one is just for "try" if it will be any different, I know it need to be tune for that. I know but YOU may know about these problem but i/we dont. They few little Skylines here let alone people who know anything about tham so that is why iam asking here
    • So now we have a radiator with no attachments whatsoever. It lifts up with a particularly tight spot between the drivers side air box mount and the lower radiator outlet, but if you've got this far you will sort that too. This is the lower mounts with the rad out so you can see where the rubber bushes go, it is a straight shot upwards Done! Assembly is the reverse of disassembly, with blood less likely to be shed.
    • Right, onto the second last trick. The Air Con condenser is mounted to the front of the radiator and stays in the car when the radiator is removed. There are 2x 10mm headed self tappers holding the top of the condenser to the radiator, remove those The bottom of the condenser is attached to the radiator with clips. You need to lift the condenser out of those clips and clear (up, then forward). f**ked if  could work out how to do that last bit with the front bumper on. I hope you can, and you share the trick.  Bumper removal probably deserves its own thread one day once I've recovered the will to live, but basically you need to remove the wheels, front inner guard liners (clips and 10mm headed bolts), the self tapper between the guard and the bumper at the rearmost point of the bumper (same as an R32 that bit), any remaining clips at the top/front of the grill, an absolute bastard design with a plate that holds the top of the bumper above the headlight each side (only 1 bolt which is tricky to get to, but the plate catches 2 places on the bumper and must be removed....carefully!) and push clips between the bumper and guard under the headlight. If you've done all that you will be faced with wiring for the fog lights on both sides and in ADM Q50 RS at least, 4 nasty tight plugs on the driver's side for the ADAS stuff. So, the clips at the bottom look like this on drivers side (looking from the front) And on the passenger side (also from the front), you can see this one is already out Clearance on both of these are super tight; the condenser needs to move up but the upper rad support mount prevents that, and the radiator can't move down far because it is (rubber) mounted. Once you achieve the impossible and drop the condenser off those mounts so it does not stop the rad moving, you are good to go
    • OK, next the shroud needs to come off and there are a couple of tricks. Firstly, there is a loom from near the passenger side headlight to the fans, coolant temp sensor etc and there is no plug to undo.  In my case I was OK to leave the shroud on top of the engine so I just undid the passenger side fan plug and about 10 of the clips which gave enough free wire to put it aside. The fan plugs were super tight, the trick I used was a small falt screwdriver to push down on the release tab, then a larger flat screwdriver to lever the plug out of the fan unit....be careful with how much force you apply! If you need to remove the shroud altogether for some reason you will have to deal with all the plugs (tight) and clips (brittle)....good luck. I removed all of the clips and replaced them with cable ties that I will just cut next time. Also, in the Red Sport / 400R at least, the intake heat exchanger reservoir hose is bolted to the shroud in 2 places with 10mm headed bolts; so remove them (the hose stays in the car; no need to undo it at the t fittings down at the radiator lower mount. Once you've dealt with the HX hose and the wiring loom, there are 3x 10mm headed self tappers holding the top of the shroud to the radiator; remove those.   The shroud then lifts out of the bottom mounts where it sits on the radiator, up and onto the engine out of the way.
