ok, atm I have my car.

the front bar is on, but ****ed after i let my friend drive it, and he didnt know how to enter driveways...

Im also looking for a trust airpod and attachment and a nice fmic set up.

but i need insurance, beacuse I dont want to lose my car, I'm 21 had 8 speeding tickets in the last 6 years, and had my license suspensed once(the new rule).

I'm just wondering wheres the best places to go and whats the best value for money. like I dont want chrome pipes for my fmic, i'd rather black, but a chrome fmic.

my drivers door window motor is now ****ed from going up and down too much, so i'll have to replace that also.

and b4 i got my car service my car did 80 in first and then 135 in second, now it only goes to 60-65 and then seems like its trying to get more air. and in second only gets to 100. this is good for me, but I would rather a car taht works properly then not.

basically im bored sitting at home, and would rahter spend money on my car :D

thats at stock psi also, I dont know what happened and chaos has seen my car go :D

so I'm trying to think what could have happened, can you reduce the turbo psi from stock to lower? or can new spark plugs do something?

my car has a rev limiter of 7000 but not speed limited(this is good so I cant over rev.)

so, maybe i need to get it tuned or something. dad doesnt want to help, he believes my car goes fast enough as it is, and that he doesnt want me to loose my license again...

greg have u tried taking the airbox off?? maybe thats why it seems its trying to suck more air in cause i noticed last time u had one on.

insurance....well with ur history you will struggle to get it.

I'd say go with a 400R front bar or garage ***ui or something like that (NA_R33 has one) and this have a large section in the front for a front mount.

nah new clutch, once i bought it from autoshop the clutch was over trightened and they had burnt the **** outter it, i got a new one the next day, some dakin perforanmce clutch for 900 fitted, was quoted other places for $1200. the clutch is fine, the only problem i have is the air filter is stock and the sponge is shit its almost about to fall apart(some rips in it) so I'm going to either get a panel air filter, or waste some money on a pod and make some air box thingy :D

at the service, i got new plugs, the mud outta the radirator(this didnt make the car heat up at all for some reason :D and new oils and shit like that. I run my car only on ulimate, I would get racq to tow me to a bp if i ran out of fuel in front of a shell :D

i check the water and oil regualy and would rather be saef then sorry. I also have to find somewhere that will lathe back my disc, or maybe buy some slotted ones :D

and imm thinking of getting my license back for night work, because i make 300 more a week doing nights. I THINK i could drive to and from work properly and that I will slow down on the open roads. speed kills those that dont look in their mirrors...

Bwahahahaha! Funny. I'm a BP only man too.

I got my front discs machined at Global down here on the coast. Removed them myself, drove there in my shitter, had lunch, went back, all done, $30. Still want DBA rotors tho...

Slowing down in a Skyline is a figment of your imagination... :D

And aint that the truth...

    • Forgot to include this but this is the mid section of my steering rack that looks like it has a thread/can be turned with that notch mentioned in the post:
    • Hey everyone, Wanted to pick some brains about this issue I'm having with rebuilding my 33 rack (PN is 49001-19U05). All of the tutorials/videos I've seen online are either R34 or S Chassis racks which seem to be pretty straightforward to disassemble but this process doesnt carry over to my rack. Few of the key differences that I've noted The pinion shaft on the other racks bolt on with 3 torx bolts: Whereas my rack bolts on with 2 allen head bolts: These changes are pretty inconsequential but the main difference is how you pull the actual rack out of the housing. The other skyline/s chassis racks can be taken out by tapping the rack out of the body with a socket and it just slides right out. I'm unable to do that with my rack because there's a hard stop at the end that doesn't let the seal/shaft be tapped out. Can also see a difference in the other end of the rack where mine has a notch that looks like you're able to use a big wrench to unthread 2 halves of the rack whereas the other racks are just kinda set in with a punch. My rack: Other racks: TLDR; Wanted to know if anyone has rebuilt this specific model of steering rack for the R33 and if there were any steps to getting it done easier or if I should just give this to a professional to get done. Sorry if this post is a bit messy, first one I've done.
    • I would just put EBC back on the "I would not use their stuff" pile and move on.
    • Can I suggest you try EBC directly again and link them to as many competitor catalogues as you can to show their listing is incorrect, eg https://dba.com.au/product/front-4000-series-hd-brake-rotor-dba42304/ If you have access to an R33 GTST VIN and your VIN, you could also use a Nissan Parts lookup like Amayama to show them the part number is different between 33 GTST and 34 GTT which may get their attention
    • So i got reply from EBC and they just this site where you can clearly see those 296mm fronts on R34 GTT. I send them photos and "quotes" that 296mm are not for 34 GTT and they are too small. But it will be very hard to return them cuz nobody here knows 100% and they just copy those EBC catalogue :-D https://ebcbrakesdirect.com/automotive/nissan/skyline-r34
