Wheel Problem

Recommended Posts

Hi Guys,

I had 18inch rims on my 33, and have sold them. I have put back the stockies with 215/60/15 tyres on.

But for some reason the front tyres rubs this. I dont know what its called but heres a pic of it. But when i had the 18's they didnt rub at all.

The thing on top of the wheel looks like it isnt touching the tyre, but it is actually rubbing on the tyre.

anyone had this problem?

this looks like a bracket for your Wishbone "control arm"...

stock rims shouldnt be allowing it to rub on it

some of the R33 rims use 205/55/16 without problems...

try checking the plate at the side of your door...it should show correct tyre sizes...

if other people have the same tyre as yours, then a more involved culprit may be a cause

is anyone out there using 60 as a profile on stock rims and have this problem???

this is probably the answer to your problem.

reccomened tyre sizes for the stockies are 225/50/16 or 205/55/16

i am using 225/50 all round on my stockies
