hi guys i have a 95 r33 gtst and am wanting to put spitfire coilpacks into it amd im just wondering should i put series 1 or 2 in it

At the back of your engine on top of the coil pack cover, do you have the ignitor box sitting there?

Series 1's, Series 2 have a different ignitor setup, ie no ignitor pack on the back of the coil cover.

Dont be so sure mate, wait till he answers my question because some of the 1995 ones have the series 2 engines, ie no ignitor box.

there is only one box, its either there - or it isnt

Pic with a series 1 r33 with the ignitor box circled. If you dont have it there you need Series 2 Splitfires.

this is my one, it looks a little different to the one pictured. so can anyone help me out as the car is going on the dyno friday and i need to know. thanks

Tezflow that picture look exactly the same as what my 95 R33 looks like. I have been told my car is a Series 1.5 by some people. I bought the series 2 splitfire coils and they work a treat. "SPLITFIRE COIL PACKS SKYLINE-RB SERIES RB20 25 26-005" the 005 model number is for the Series 2. The 001 model is for the Series 1.

yeh thanks shotter, i have been told mine is a series 1.5 to.............so you think go the series 2???? can anyone else conform that?

yes you need s2 splitfires
