he's only quit that particular porfolio he's not unemployed yet.........unless the opposition push him out the back door altogether.

the key word in pete's quote is "yet"

apparently, toms got himself some big stomping V8 project in his shed...a knowledgable little birdy told me tonite

No i swear man, i really thought it was you, it sounded like your voice but Tom Jonesified. Oh well, mistaken

Now theyre saying he has something like 58 convictions in total, thats 27 more than the 31 reported during the weekend

and this guy is the minister for correctional services still?

a travesty. lets vote these wankers out next election

-D

Given their poor performance so far and the deficit they've incurred upon us all ... I really hope they don't get voted back in.

For the record, I didn't vote for them. :P

like I said earlier Ben, his credibility went out the window with his portfolio......hows anyone dealing with him now gonna take him serious.

Give it a bit of time and his own Govt will push him quietly out the back door cause he's no longer an asset, just a big pimple on your nose liability!

This time next year, he could be picking you up from the airport :P

rann is still saying he has "a big future" in the labor party, so still to me sounds like he is there golden boy

aahhh, yeah but Rhys, there've been many a footy coach that have been told by a board that their jobs are secure one week and on the dole queue the next.

Suppose time will tell.....either way, he aint gonna be hassling us anymore.

this guy has been set up as the next state labor leader, Rann has some facination with him..... i think you will find he will get the peter garret treatment for a few months and then your gonna see some typical Rann PR on the guy and by next election he will be 2nd in line.

im all for the dick goin back to cab driving so i can abuse him and throw up in his car on a eventful sat night but yeh i wouldnt put anything past this current gov

Rann has to show faith in his ministers, no weaknesses!

True.

You have a dodgy leader with personal agendas, supposedly backing a dodgy (ex) minister with personal issues!

We have one strong political party don't we? :P

    • Hope you aren't too sore after that one, might take a day or 2 to notice yet and I guess it is a loooooong drive home. On the bright side, tube frame front end is a thing at superlap, right?

    • The chart of front pressure to rear pressure (with one being on the x axis and the other being on the y axis) is not a straight line on a typical proportioning valve. At lower pressures there is a straight line with one slope, and at higher pressures that changes to a lower slope. That creates a bend in the line at that pressure, called the knee point. If you do not change the proportionng as the pressure gets higher, you will suffer excessive pressure (at one end of the car or the other, depending on which way you look at the proportioning action) and then get lockups at that end. The HFM BM57, from my memory of previous discussions, is based on the BM57 from a different car (to a Skyline), with a different requirement for the location of the knee point and the distribution of pressure front to rear, and so is not a good choice for an upgrade on a Skyline. Here's a couple of links to some old posts, one from here, one from elsewhere. A lot of it pertains to adjustable prop valves, but the idea is the same. There are plenty of discussions on here about this issue from al the many years of people wanting a cheap/accessible option. https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/grm/learn-me-brake-proportioning-valves/236880/page1/ https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/grm/learn-me-brake-proportioning-valves/236880/page1/
