Constant Beep In Reverse

Hello,

When i place the car (350gt8) in reverse i get a constant beep, sounds like a truck reversing, however it is in the cabin. ive tried backing up to a wall to see if its a reversing sensor, however its seems to just remain constant?

Does any one else have this?

can it be deactivated/removed/stopped?

What is it for? (a reminder your in reverse)

Like the beep for when you leave the key in the ignition and have the door open, it is there on all cars and serves as a warning for the retards who arent sure if theyre reversing or have the key in the ignition and the door open.. thankyou car for protecting me from myself... once they put a beep for when the car is in drive then we'll be set

You will find that most (if not all) automatic cars in japan are fitted with the beep.

Annoying as hell. I can live with the reverse one but keys in the ignition absolutely drives me insane.
