THANKS TO ALL THAT CAME!! :bunny:

was a successful east meets west, ended up with about just under 30 cars from the east and west side and a total of around 40 people! bigger than expected which is always the best. south east side getting up there had to pull voer a few times due to the amount of red lights we kept getting on prinny hahaha. but got all there in one group.. mostly :)

Big thanks to Antony for organising the west side meet and leading them there, so much for that 500M walk ey? aha..

big thanks again to everyone that came along and behaved appropiatly spesh in the wet weather conditions, and thanks to leigh 'UNR33L' for helping me hop in his car and lead as my car was unable to make it..

Hope to organise another one soon!

I will upload pictures that i took in the morning after i sleep in

A big thanks to all that attended. Was indeed a great night with good food and excellent company. We definatly had more turn up than expected but the manager at the Pizzeria was more than happy to accommodate the extra numbers :D

I'd say due to the popularity of this event, we will be looking at doing something similar in the not too distant future.

See you all at the next one!

ahh been editing the photo's i took last night of the cars. so now there at a good light setting to see.

but i gotta hook up a photo bucket account and then link it. cause pics are kinda big in size.

Ferah your car looks like a cartoon from 'Maximum Tune' with you headlights on in the pic.

and Al's car turned out the best in the pics after editing ... will upload soon-ish. OF to warrnambool now, anyone up for a 3hours cruise ? kebabs at the end of the road lol

yeahh i was following leigh then lost him out of albert park n realised there were few other 33s following behind us

yeah sorry about that guys, we couldn't end up going the way we came because the road we came up was a one way street, and my 'navigators' in the car told me to go that way lol

post pics guys :D

uploading pics now, lol thanks for coming tubz, did anyone else see when we got to minro st car park. that red VZ commo and with it the red r34 coupe with the led taillights driving around everywhere/around our cars at pizza shop etc. looked dodgy LOL.. pics up in about 10 min :D

    • Wife wanted basket things in the wardrobe in our temporary house. Thought about ripping our the wardrobe and fitting the entire IKEA set, but it's a temporary house and we want to move in a few years. So IKEA advertises this as a 50cm unit, however the actually basket and rails measure 46cm wide. Only issue was depth, IKEA stuff is quite deep, where as the builder special junk is super shallow at less than 40cm. Send it, chopped the rails, then offset the mounting holes, job done, happy wife, less shit scattered all over the bedroom. Did the same to the other side too. Also drove the Skyline shit box today, dropped off oil at Supercheap Auto. I didn't realise they only now take max 2x bottles per visit. I visited 2x Supercheap Autos.
    • I've seen similar actually in my situation. You never know what tables are attempted to be used when the car thinks it's -99C or +200C. The fail state is not usually that extreme but you know what I mean - it was in my case though! This is where being able to read all the sensors is useful cause you see this stuff really quickly.
    • The above is very important. However as long as you keep timing relatively low, it's plausible to make your own knock ears and plausible to learn to tune with a modern ECU that can do wideband O2 correction like a boost controller. I mean if you only have one viable road to even drive the car on, learning to tinker to this level may be worth doing given you can't do much else with the car...?
    • I find the fact that the rear plate has to be bent inwards at the rear not so bad: but the front is just awful: It's like come on. (these are my very old, now retired/turned in plates) TBH it is a lot of money to fix a minor issue, the fact I said "I'll never really spend the money on doing this" is why people ended up buying them as a gift for a 'car guy' who can be hard to shop for.. for car guy things.
    • I just bent the ends of my premo plates. It even went through Regency like that after the engine conversion and the inspector (a great bloke!) just squinted his eyes and said "I didn't see that". Plates, and how they look, are just something that have zero importance to me.
