I have a set in Sydney has a bit of gutter rash and only two good tyres.. PM me an offer.

Cheers

Johno

as discussed on the phone - cheers for the offer mate, however $2400 is more than i am prepared to pay (especially for a set with rash and needs 2x new tyres!) :P

if i was prepared to spend that sort of money on rims, i dont know about everyone else - could be personal preference but i'd be shopping around for a nice fat set of volks or something! so best of luck with the sale anyway!

please keep those offers coming people - looking for an unpainted set and am still able to pick up and pay cash today - i will not **** you around, and thats a promise :D

There are plenty for sale but not for $1300 per set...

yeah that $1300 set was a one off!

i'm willing to pay more than that of course, but unfortunately not as much as you were after for your set. as before - thanks, i appreciate the offer anyway! :)

As I said in my P.M. I don't have as set to sell the only set I have is in my car ! I said if you are not in a hurry I maybe able to get a set for you ( I know someone that will have a set when he gets his new wheels). I said you are going to have to pay over $2k for them as they are not gutter marked .

You said $2 k is over the top for R34 GTR rims .

In your post before you said " nobody with 34GTR rims for sale", there are plenty for sale as long as you are prepared to pay for them .

From my experience you are not going to find a good unmarked set for under $2 k .

Who knows the condition of the wheels sold for $1300 ? Could have been buckled ? Badly scraped ??Cracked even ?

Even in Japan a good set sells for well over 120K yen at around the 75 yen to one AU right now and you can see why Justjap sell them for $3k

hey mate,

just stumbled into one of your posts, it appears you have sold a few sets of 34 gtr rims.

i know its a long shot - but if you happen to come across another set - please give me a yell!

i'm in the hills district.

please let me know either way ASAP!

cheers!

chris.

Hi Chris,

That was a while ago mate, I only have one set and thats on my car.

how much are yoiu prepared to pay for a set ( without tyres) in good nick without gutter scrapes .

Have you tried Justjap?

Cheers, Jerry

hi jerry,

thansk for your reply.

i have tried just jap - they dont have any at the moment.

not sure how much just yet, there was a guy who is currenlty stripping a 34 gtr in the for sale section and he sold his rims for 1300 with rubber, but thats really cheap! dont know what sort of condition they would have been in though - i never saw them.

if you happen to come across a set - please let me know because im sure we can work something out.

cheers!

chris.

Hi Chris ,

I don't know what kind of wheels he sold for $1300 mate. The cheapest I sold mine was $2300 without rubber . I know Justjap was selling them around the $3k mark with slight marks .

If you are not in a hurry and you are prepared to pay over $2k I maybe able to get you a set .

Cheers , Jerry

hey again jerry,

thanks for the reply.

2k is a bit much for me at the moment, but thanks anyway for the offer - much appreciated.

all the best

mate? as above i still have our PM's in our sent box.

i'm not trying to get in the bad books with you or anything? as above i just dont have the money to spend over 2000 for a mint set. sorry if i have offended you?

2k is a fair price for an unmarked set with rubber, i never said that is over the top!? :D

all i'm doing is trying to find a set of 34 rims here. rashed or not - doesnt bother me as long as i can find a set i can afford.

kris, sorry to see that guy is giving you a hard time. just read the messages, without a doubt..... an absolutely uncalled for attack. i struggle to see where it came from.

as discussed a few weeks ago..... if you can still hold out, i'll be selling my set shortly. im sure we can work out a reasonable price.

on a side note..... in my eyes, $2300 without rubber for 34 gtr rims????? i'll say it.. is a JOKE!!!!!!

i hope you stick around, as you could probably work out - i dont post on here much due to all the keyboard warriors.

otherwise free bump mate.....

p.s..... thanxx again for the radio.

    • The car/ECU will have all the sensor that it needs and expect to have. I think i do not have to explain to you how the Link is way better specialy if you have swapped engine   I just do not want to deal with any "problems" cuz i have only Nistune which i learned is not that great and in my case cant even deal with that speed problem (Link can) And of course it will be way more easier to tune and diagnose and safe. And for the ECU/speed problem...i dont know.
    • Per Mark Roberts of Sonictune: Mark Robert Author At this time, no. No ETA either 2016-17 models. You will be able to purchase and install a 2018.5+ TCU though   TCU purchasing and pricing info! As we near the release of TCU tuning, I am going to answer some questions I get asked often.   What do I need for TCU tuning? At this time, you will need a 2018.5+ TCU to be able to tune. If you have a 2016-to early 2018, you will need to replace your TCU with the newer version. One good way to know if your TCU is good is if you have auto upshift in manual mode in 1st gear around 6500 rpms. If your manual 1st gear goes to 7k rpm and will hit the rev limiter unless you shift, you have the older TCU.   Why do I need to buy another ecu license/phone flash if I already have it on my ECU tune? The TCU is its own computer module. It is completely separate from the ECU. Because of this, you will be required to purchase a TCU license and, if your tuner has it, the phone flash license required to tune it via phone/bluetooth.   Do I need TCU tuning? TCU tuning is NOT required. However, the faster your setup, the more it will assist in track and dragy time consistency.   If I’m ECU tuned by (tuner A) can I get my TCU tuned by (Tuner ? Yes, since it’s a different module and a completely separate flash, you can have two different tuners. However, it is highly recommend that you have both tuned by the same tuner. For me, my TCU tuning will directly complement my ECU tuning style and features and running my ECU and another TCU or vice versa MIGHT cause some issues. At this time and for the foreseeable future, I will only be tuning my current ECU tuned customers TCUs.     I have a SYVECS AWD controller. Do I still need it? Yes! The AWD controllers main job is to control your AWD system. However, with TCU tuning, you will no longer need the auto-shift function as that will be done through the TCU. The AWD controller will still be very beneficial for racers looking to maximize traction on the launch.     Shift schedule changes: holding gears longer at lower pedal input as well as max shift rpm changes. Please note, the new ECU race rom coming out will address 90% of the shitty drivability issues these cars have through custom maps from myself and Racebox—as well as others I am sure.   Increase shift speeds: as seen in the videos I’ve been posting, the TCU shifts much faster once tuned.   Increased shift pressures: as also seen in the videos, much firmer full throttle shifts.

    • The fancy pants red shock tower brace is finally incoming from MX5 Mania, getting it shipped from 'Merica has been a long and problematic process, and GWR, the 'Merican supplier will not ship directly to consumers outside of the US, Mania basically had to order a heap of them, the colour choice was silver, or red, and we all know anything red adds 5 killerwasps of dynotorques..... Whilst it does fit over a 2.5, and I've seen a few photos and videos of it being installed and fitting, google also says it might get real close to the FAB9 intake front runner, people in the US says it does fit with the FAB9 intake, except for one person who said it slightly touched.......so there is that.....LOL..... As it seems that I am the first in AU to have this combination of parts there's no local knowledge about fitment, so I'm just a willing guinea pig in this endeavour, I'll cross my fingers and toes and hope for the best In other news, I ordered stuff from China  on the same day I ordered the 23° silicone bend from Victoria, the stuff from China arrived a day ago, the 23° silicone bend is still travelling around Australia thanks to Australia Post, and "may" be here next week
    • Very good news...I contacted Racebox about it last night. My car is a 2016 so remains to be seen if it is compatible, requires a TCU swap, or is impossible.
