Manual Transmission

RB20DET 130,000kms (timing belt etc was done at 100k)

Oil changed every 5 - 6k with Royal Purple oil

Spark Plugs and fuel filter changed every 10k

Good alarm (wont mention what model on the forum as thieves browse here)

Only ever run on BP Ultimate

Mods:

Dyno tuned by Yavuz at Unigroup Engineering 177rwkw at 13psi very safe tune

R33 S2 Turbo

Apexi Pod filter enclosed in a cold air box

HKS wastegate actuator

3 inch turbo back exhaust with high flow cat and Apexi cannon

Turbo Timer

Hicas Lock Bar

GTR Grill

TEIN Coilovers

Im sure theirs a few more mods I cant think of at the moment.

I cant find any pics of the interior at the moment but it is in very good condition. Will try get pics up soon.

I might also be interested in a swap so just show me what you have on offer.

PM me or email me on [email protected] if you are interested.

Thanks,

David

Pity your in Sydney. I would swap a 2004 R1 if you were interested!!! Car looks good.

Guys & girls, free bump as i can personally vouch for the quality of this car. I have seen it in different tunes & guises over the last couple of years, & it really is a nice machine. We have been out cruising many times & never had a problem, sounds rather wicked & goes hard

Id be sad to see it sold, as we've grown up around it for quite a while, but if someone buys it, please request the stock rims so i can get the RS GT's off him for my car ;)

I know theres other features hes forgotten to mention also, so have a look for yourselves....good luck with the sale dude

    • List all of your mods. It sounds like an aftermarket ECU hitting rev limiter. Like a valet mode, or a cold rpm limiter?
    • @Kapr Haha yeah thats the one. I missed that you had a built up engine, I wouldn't want to run it on there either then. It was good in my situation just to replace the original turbo on a stock engine. @MBS206Yep definitely not a replacement for anything name brand
    • You are selling this? I have never bought something from marketplace...i dont know if i trust that enough. And the price is little bit "too" good...

    • It would be well worth deciding where you want to go and what you care about. Reliability of everything in a 34 drops MASSIVELY above the 300kw mark. Keeping everything going great at beyond that value will cost ten times the $. Clutches become shit, gearboxes (and engines/bottom ends) become consumable, traction becomes crap. The good news is looking legalish/actually being legal is slighly under the 300kw mark. I would make the assumption you want to ditch the stock plenum too and want to go a front facing unit of some description due to the cross flow. Do the bends on a return flow hurt? Not really. A couple of bends do make a difference but not nearly as much in a forced induction situation. Add 1psi of boost to overcome it. Nobody has ever gone and done a track session monitoring IAT then done a different session on a different intercooler and monitored IAT to see the difference here. All of the benefits here are likely in the "My engine is a forged consumable that I drive once a year because it needs a rebuild every year which takes 9 months of the year to complete" territory. It would be well worth deciding where you want to go and what you care about with this car.
