As I said to the guy at Top Secret; Id give it a good home, however it seems the plan is to see how long it takes to be completely covered in rust.

Which is a shame, but the distinct vibe I got from each place we went is that RB's and 2J's arent worth bothering with now the R35 is out

Same vibe i got. When i was at Top Secret i was asking for RB25 parts, the guy there was looking through his stock and then just said "RB25 not popular"

I forgot about this thread.

I still haven't even had time to look at the 6 hours of 1080p video taken. I don't even know how there was that much. Though there was quite a lot at Tomei and on the Irohazaka run.

Will try and get the vids up soon.

Tomei are still RB fans.

They have just released new exhaust components that are on their way now which will be added to our line up very soon.

The quality is the same as the Expreme manifolds and dumps. AMAZING!!!

tell me there is more pics of this s14 floating around the net

topsecretvisitmayslidina.jpg

No there are no more of it, it was just a customer car that was in the picture with the 34.

I'm not a fan of Silvia's. :D

I will be back there in October and will be packing another container.

If its there i will take a picture with me tying to pee on it. zing

There is so much unedited video, if i just uploaded it all without editing i would probably be banned from the internet and jailed upon return to Japan.

Just a few, it takes ages at this quality up.

This was the first couple of days and some train shenanigans on our way to Sendai.

Haven't even seen the actual motor sport video i took yet.

Be kind RE: the boyish good looks.

Note, we were both hungover in most vids trying to be touristy.

Steve's snoring messing with my dreams.

The reason i had no sleep while Steve was with me for the first 10 days i was in japan in June.

Steve Honda Station.

Wish someone had of killed me so that i wouldn't have had to deal.

Moe slurring and time wasting. Irrelevant jibba jab

60% of the time it works every time.

Not much else to do on the train?

More to come, that was a gig. Ridiculous.

I will get to the drifting, circuit, and workshop stuff as i can.

I'm back over in October, so no doubt will have more before i have even finished looking at or uploading things from June.

I like the part where he snores lol

Seriously though, id be smothering Steve with a pillow if i had to endure 10 days of that :D

Bwahaha.. nice thread guys..

Steve you are a tank man! That's why I hate sharing cabins with you. Paper thin walls and you sound like almost like a rotor!

I like the part where he snores lol

I Did...........................................it got through. :D

Will be meeting up with Uno in Sendai again and will hopefully get some nice street touge/drift footage.

    • How dare you sell your unreliable Skyline and buy a reliable, Toyota/Yamaha car with a strong gearbox, torsen LSD and Toyota reliability. At least you won't need to worry about oil pumps, big catch can, oil restrictors, blowing off power steering belts, sheering off 3rd gear, failing ABS relays/pumps, etc.
    • Hope you aren't too sore after that one, might take a day or 2 to notice yet and I guess it is a loooooong drive home. On the bright side, tube frame front end is a thing at superlap, right?

    • The chart of front pressure to rear pressure (with one being on the x axis and the other being on the y axis) is not a straight line on a typical proportioning valve. At lower pressures there is a straight line with one slope, and at higher pressures that changes to a lower slope. That creates a bend in the line at that pressure, called the knee point. If you do not change the proportionng as the pressure gets higher, you will suffer excessive pressure (at one end of the car or the other, depending on which way you look at the proportioning action) and then get lockups at that end. The HFM BM57, from my memory of previous discussions, is based on the BM57 from a different car (to a Skyline), with a different requirement for the location of the knee point and the distribution of pressure front to rear, and so is not a good choice for an upgrade on a Skyline. Here's a couple of links to some old posts, one from here, one from elsewhere. A lot of it pertains to adjustable prop valves, but the idea is the same. There are plenty of discussions on here about this issue from al the many years of people wanting a cheap/accessible option. https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/grm/learn-me-brake-proportioning-valves/236880/page1/ https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/grm/learn-me-brake-proportioning-valves/236880/page1/
    • Yeah dunno why johhny posted that here with no context, just post on FB/insta bro where he put it up?  Laine had an off at T4 during Thurs prac, he's ok, car is less than perfect, they are done for the weekend, he can fill in the rest. Bando also binned it like 100m up the road.
