OK . I've owned the r33gts for around a year now . serviced regularly and just on the weekend . she decided to miss . the spark plugs were pretty worn so i replaced them. and soon after i cranked her up again she started to miss again . i naturally assumed coil packs noticeably to find that cylinder 4 with the pack was fubar . by unplugging the others n switching them round. so in came new coil packs . but the miss is still there . it sounds like a vaccum cleaner on roids . idles normally. until you put your hand down in front of the rear muffler. you get a putting sensation. exhaust valves was my next thought . help anyone ??? ;)

hmmm im not expert but maybe think about getting plugs regapped or getting splitfires...cause i think i remember reading somewhere on here that after 100'000km or so coilpacks start to go..not 100% so anyone can feel to correct me.

If it is the symptom of starting up in a cold morning and your car puts, revs drop by 500 then back up and car shakes and you hit the accelerator and it fixes the problem its a ignite problem with the fuel. Fix it by getting new coils :)

You can tell its a air or fuel problem when your car shakes. If you disconnect your AFM sensor plug it will do the exact same thing but obviously a different reason. In this case your basically not giving enough spark until you accelerate and that helps ignite the entire cylinder.

This wont damage your car by the way, its up to you if you want to fix it.
