We had a special dinner organised by the Parramatta Eels last night, and Ben Elias, Ray Price were talking, and they both said selectors should be sacked. the coaches should pick the teams. And they shouldn't use NRL coaches (didn't quite understand that, not sure what they meant)

But then they compared NSW coaches to QLD coaches. And they brought up the example of when Fatty Vaughton coached the QLD side, was basically a team of nobodies..and yet they won the series.

NSW just isn't hungry for it. Instead of tackling they hug the other team, and their control of the ball is the worst i've ever seen

For those who say nsw didnt try you must have watched a different game to me. The second half was the most brutal 40 minutes of footy I have ever seen. the cockroach carnts threw everything including the kitchen sink at the wounded canetoads but they would not say die!

Without a doubt the gutsiest effort I have ever seen.

I am amazed at Billy Harigans video ref decisions and the run of play calls all favouring the blue's I kept thinking about that decider in Melbourne a couple years ago. How the f**k do these idiots keep there jobs? They should just toss a coin on every video ref call this would get more corect calls than whatever they use to base a decision on. I congradulate the NSW team for showing the grit and true spirit of Origin, they could have imploded after the first 20 minutes But they pulled it together.

Most importantly the best team won.

If the NSW public and all the critics allow it this team and these players will become as good if not better than us, fortunatey for us the subject is too emotive and all the monday's experts in the NSWRL will demand heads roll this will enable a 5th and or 6th series win.

Great to see the biff return though hardly the standard of old.

I am happy with Trent Barrets tackle, more of this from all please that will enable the biff

It's a shame the blues played so poorly in the opening 1/4 of the game and gifted the maroons 18 points. It may have been a different result had they just hung onto the ball.

Did anyone hear Gus talking about a QLD v NZ exhibition match during one of the games last night? What a farce that would be lol. I reckon even the Blues would beat them! NZ only play about 2 good games a decade and they have managed to produce them at the right times! The tackle was pretty bad in the end, but I doubt he set out to hit Inglis in the jaw. He most probably was trying to hit the ball to knock it out and missed horribly. Hopefully game 3 will be a bit more exciting than game over after 20 mins lol.
