Passive
At the risk of sounding prejudice against certain cars... whats with all of the bad stories about cars...being about commodores and falcons? I read the news everyday at work and this is one of the latest articles: http://www.theaustralian.news.com.au/story...5-12377,00.html People keep telling me i have a hoon car, but i havent really read of any skylines being crashed except for that red one...which i bet was stolen... BUT working in a country town, everyone here loves commodores or falcons and gangs up on me because im into imports!!! Anyone know any other stories or anything? Or even, can show me stories in the news involving skylines or WRX's? ossie_21
5 minutes, hai 5! Most commodores rear vision is impaired by a big f**k off skin/unit/show some/thor sticker, so they don't bother looking behind them any more because they can't really see. That's reflected to the rest of their driving habits, true story. And I was going to buy a VE SSV Ute next Do they make them for men yet?? taipan73
It ain't only falcodores being tools. Had a 200sx infront of me on the freeway last week decide that it would be a good idea to spin his wheels, in the rain, amongst traffic, doing over the speedlimit and nearly lose it into the side of another car Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/274781-commodores-and-falcons-wtf/#findComment-4658990 Share on other sites

Passive
ANOTHER ONE: Font Size: Decrease Increase Print Page: Print June 17, 2009 Article from: Australian Associated Press A P-PLATER was caught driving at 180km/h before crashing his car on the NSW north coast, police said. Highway Patrol officers were doing speed checks on the Pacific Highway at Bonville just after 4pm (AEST) yesterday when they detected a Holden Commodore allegedly travelling at 180km/h, twice the legal speed limit for P-platers. They followed the car, which went out of control on a sweeping bend at the top of the Lyons Road overpass off-ramp and crashed into a safety railing, police said. Police arrested the driver, an 18-year-old from Fernmount who was uninjured in the crash. He was taken to Coffs Harbour Police station where his P1 licence was suspended and he was charged with driving at a dangerous speed, negligent driving and exceeding the speed limit by more than 45km/h. He is due to appear in Coffs Harbour Local Court on July 13. I still havent seen any reports in some the same context about skylines, WRX's etc lol Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/274781-commodores-and-falcons-wtf/#findComment-4661160 Share on other sites
inthisglass
its because for the most part, people who own and drive skylines etc are more intelligent they choose to hoon when its safe and or legal (or when no ones looking ) Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/274781-commodores-and-falcons-wtf/#findComment-4661992 Share on other sites
Dorigecko
"wheel-spinning continued for more than five minutes" falcons can do 5minute burnouts now? You haven't abused an EF obviously. Yes, falcons have a rev limiter. (Bwaaaaaaaba---baaa-bbaaa---baaaaa *drop to 1* bwaaaaaaaaaaaaabababababababaa) and so on. Can't even believe that car sold...
