Hey its Kim here - know a couple of you guys from mandurah - I drive a white Mitsubishi Starion and if any of you guys have met me, youd know how much i love my turbo imports :P

My cars off the road at the Moment, but will soon be getting a new engine - by towards the end of this year or early january, I will be getting a 32 GTS-t and keeping my starion as a project car for mainly club events (autokhanas/hillclimbing).

We all have to meet up sometime -mrmeaner - i seen ur car the other day, its a real nice R33. Good work.

There are actually quite a few people with turbos around here- ive seen the guy with that White 33 with sticker - seems a bit of a dickhead. I also have been in the Black Standard R33 thats around here - has gold GTS25T badge on the rear - My mate with a VL turbo was racing him (couple of u might know him-Ryan Farr-)and he just beat us but we were able to top end it - damm those 180 km/h limiters!! I was impressed how smoothly that R33 got power.

Oh yes- and where I live in Meadow springs - there is a Red R34 G-TT - very very very fast, big Cooler etc. The old man who drives it is quiet grumpy so It mite not be idea to pull him over!!

Give us a wave if u see me round - I will.

Cheers,

Kim

    • I may have my math slightly wrong, I'm not double checking that again, but the factory spec for fuel pressure is to set it with the engine IDLING (in vacuum). That spec is 51PSi while idling. So now add +10psi for atmospheric, and +7 for 7psi of boost, and we need 68psi of fuel pressure at full noise, and 51psi idling. That's according to the FSM I found last night for M35. So MINIMUM fuel pressure should be 51psi and it climbs from there.
    • Provided that what you see makes sense and is not "linear" between, say 1.9 and 2.1 volts and that's the whole range you get. You still need it to be doing one end of the 0-5v range at one end of travel, and the other end of the 0-5v range at WOT.
    • So just calibrate whatever voltage the closed position and full throttle position is and check linearity ? Sounds good to me
    • go look at the live data, and slowly open and close the throttle, if it is moving in a linear fashion, just do a re-calibration. OR if you really want to, adjust the TPS position so it's under 1V (no need to be bang on a 0,45V, it's not a stock ECU), then recal. Job done, rip skids, post it here.
    • Looks better than dusted paint, and also looks better than the old OEM one, much happy
