I e-mailed a reputable parts import place one day for a quote on a 33 GTR front cut. $8500 including all panels and engine and I think gearbox.. not sure if hubs/brakes were included. I don't have the email anymore.

Thought about doing this once, myself.

mate sell your car.. trust me and everyone that also has said this..

iv got a gts-t and put 8k in to it full respray kit ect.. and the car isnt worth more than i payed for it..

if you know what i mean..

i was wonce reading others say this and thinking that ov corce id sell the car and get a gtr if i have the money..

but i didnt listen,, we are saying this because we made the same mistake..

just keep your car and drive it.. like it love it..

then when older or when your money wise stable get the gtr.

the banks are more than forward in giving money to you.. so just live life..'

thanx chris

Chris also drives an XR6 Turbo, so talking about mistakes...

Depends on what you want. To go all out, you'll need front bar, lights, grill, bonnet, bonnet latch and quarter panels, but your car will look like a hammer head shark with the wider front end. Or, you could put on a GTR-style front bar and grill for the same price as any other body kit, and still have the large flat indicators to prove it's a GTSt.

The car in the photo Dani posted up has done that, which is how they were able to keep the S2 lights. That's not as "custom" and difficult as you all think!

hey im interested in this aswel..

but i u dont need the full front end..unless u want all the guards etc..aswel

u may aswel just get the front bar..lik im doing.

& since i will getting a gtr bumper next week..i believe its a fake, but its a TBO one..so der spoze pretty high quality bumpers from japan?? but im unsure about this.

and yeah it hasent got the in-built grill that most have fake/copy gtr bumper/s have..

which seems to be the problem on series 1..coz of the headlamps.. u get gaps.. as ive seen on sum 33 with gtr bumper..mainly series 1.

i believe the headlamps or rad support isnt going to be the problem.. esp. on a series 2.

its the front guards thats got me puzzled.

since the gtr have wider frt guards the mounts mit be different..but im willing to have a shot at it.

but has anyone esle experienced this as a problem when trying to fit this bumper..??

any info would b great.

thanks

    • Thanks Duncan, that's the best info I've read. Furthermore after learning about the PCM programming side controlling the factory boost solenoid, the purpose of the solenoid is to "bleed" boost when pin 25 is earthed, thus allowing spring pressure in the wastegate actuator to overcome diaphragm boost pressure, thus closing or reducing the position of the wastegate flap creating more boost as the turbo is able to spin faster. It's pretty cool to see a designated Pill to do exactly this, would have liked to have seen it with a tiny filter over the end for those moments in vacuum.  The constant bleed pill has now been removed completely from the system and solenoid boost control has been restored once again.   Case closed 😂
    • The wideband reading is meaningless if it's not running. Why are you using shitty old sidefeeds on any engine, let alone a Neo? What manifold and fuel rail are you using to achieve that? Beyond that, can't help you with AEM stuff as I've never been their ECU/CAS combo.
    • Manual boost controllers (where a little of the boost was bled off) were quite common back in the day, because they were cheap and easy. Generally they had a manual adjustment screw rather than being fixed like yours. Down side is they always bleed boost, not just when you want them to so an electronic boost controller that uses a solenoid will have less lag.
    • Hello , im new here and i have A31 home build  RB25det neo stock eng / turbo  aem ems 2 blue connector  aem 3.5 map aem cas disk aem wideband connected to ecu  355 lph pump 550 nismo yellow injectors side feed aftermarket regulator  and won’t start with base aem tuner basic tune eventually flipped cas 180 degree so it triggers on correct stroke not in exhaust cycle  Now it won’t start Wideband reads 10 and 11 at lowest fuel setting  and will share calibrations soon for aem tuner i think something is wrong in aem tuner    please if you have any information, am very grateful
    • Legend. I ended up finding the facebook account of the owner of the first car i sent but sadly he deactivated the account. I think you’re right in saying it’s some sort of well done custom job. Really appreciate your help anyways.
