Doesn't one country have card board type cutouts on the side of the road to remember those lost due to motor vehicle accidents in the actual spots? full life sized and kids sized cutouts?

That would be kinda creepy. You're driving in the middle of the night on a deserted rural road and then suddenly you see this group of shiny people next to you. Would probably freak the shit out of me and cause an accident. But then again, I've watched too many zombie movies...

yes, how is it more distracting then

WANT LONGER LASTING SEX written is size 400 font.

you gotta have a need for longer lasting sex for that sign to be a distration.

just sayin.

i think some people really need to exercise some common sense on both sides of the coin. I think its fine to put a memorial up as long as the people putting up flowers etc. dont do so covering vital signage however people need to take responsibility for their own actions - there are SO many more distractions when driving compared to a memorial that you may/may not see such as radios in cars, signs, billboards etc... if you ban memorials, where do you stop?

people need to stop turning Victoria in to a nanny state, harden up and exercise some common sense and take some responsibility!

I almost ran up the back of a car looking at a Jenifer Hawkins billboard once hehehe! It's no different to billboards on the Tulla freeway though I often wonder how the expect drivers to look at them when they should be looking at the road doing 100k's an hour....go figure. I think as long as they don't block line of sight or signs or there isn't a bunch of cars pulled over etc it's ok.

It's a bit like those TAC signs on the side of the Freeways that say "don't take your eyes off the road" and "feeling tired?" etc.

Well after reading that sign, I kind of do. YAWN.

I want longer lasting sex...my girl can't keep up :)

peak hour traffic, when it moves at about... well I could get out and walk faster.

I so no its just litter and like we need any more of that on the side of the roads. We do have cemeteries and pretty much most of the time when your dead thats where you end up, so thats where they should go to pay respect to lost mates/loved ones. Standing on the side of the road with slack jawed yokels cruising past doesnt seem like its the most respectful way to remember someone.

i dont find them distracting, should we make it illegal for a bikini clad woman to walk down the street for the same reasons?

however, is it a bit strange that people choose the location of someones demise to remember them?

    • So, this shouldn't be such a mission, but there were a few tricks so I thought I'd post up a DIY for it. This was on a Q50 Red Sport but I doubt any other V37 model is very different (maybe just less steps for the intake heat exchanger hoses) I pulled the radiator out to flush it because the car was running hot at the track, but obviously the same steps apply for changing a radiator for any reason including an upgrade. If you are removing the radiator, you of course need to drain and refill, so have 5+ litres of blue coolant ready. You don't need to drain the intake heat exchanger to remove the radiator but depending on your plans you may need a couple of litres for that as well. You will also need something to deal with the auto transmission lines, I used 2x 8mm rubber caps on the radiator side, and a short length of 8mm pipe on the car side.....unless you can block these lines quickly you will loose AT fluid and it may be enough to hurt the transmission if you don't refill it. Other than that....lets go... "First, jack up your car". Yes really, and put it safely on stands. If you are not confident doing that you need to give this job to a mechanic
    • If the forester is anything like our old 2007 GTB Liberty, I could near on run ling Long's and "rate them", as no matter what, it just hung to the road, even when abusing it in a hard launch in the wet, or throwing it at corners.
    • LOL, all of the CAI like Craig I just need to put a hole saw through my bumper Done and dusted, the car runs, which is nice, I'll take it for a spin when the weather clears up Just need to put the bumper back on for good
    • Brooooo Please send ABS control unit schematic Please! R33 gts25t ABS (Its two plug ecu, black and white) wire colors possible? [email protected]
    • Don't even try to run it on the stock ECU if you're going to have the boost controller bring boost above ~10 psi. I've already told you that. If you use the Nistune ECU, you will need to CAREFULLY read the available documentation for Neo tuning, and read some threads on the Nistune forums, to discover the various things you have to do to prevent the ECU from going bananas when the boost is too high. The is a table associated with th boost sensor that must be modified to prevent it from shitting the bed. This is just one of the things that you will need to do to the tune in Nistune, because the Neo turbo ECU will be expecting to see a number of things (such as the TCS) that are not there, and you have to block the DTCs on those. It is totally not surprising to me that you are having the problems that you are, but the solutions to these problems have been known for >15 years. So just get it done.
