Ronin 09
I'm need new tyres and thought, what the hell i'll invest in some rims too. Now i want something light and japanese, preferably bronze and not too pricy. 18x8 and 18x9, 235/40's and 265/40's. So far the leading contender is these Black Racings. I like the Buddy Club P1 Racings, but they don't come in 18's... and the Buddy Club P2's are about 1200 a rim!. I've got a silver R33 (like everyone else!) what do people think? Any other suggestions? I want to keep it under $4K Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/27906-i-know-everyone-has-seen-this-kind-of-thread-before-wheels-good-or-bad/ Share on other sites

Snowman
Dont know your budget (if it includes rubber) but I have also been looking at the Buddy Club P1 Series 2 rims and have been quoted $820 for 18x10's at Hypertech. predator
They're nice wheels, but i think they are more suited to say a R32, or 180sx... You tend to see them more on those sorts of cars. I'm not sure how well they would suit a 33 gts-t...just my thoughts anyhow. skylineakt
Those Black Racing wheels looks sick. I was thinking of getting them when I purchased my wheels. Especially the bronze ones. But how light are they compare to the P1s?? Is there a big difference between the 18 inches and the 17 inches? Like beside the looks and the size, 18 inches rubbers is going to cost you more and I got told 17 inches can make accelation a bit quicker. Damn I can't believe P1 Racing II drop so much in price!! I should of waited a bit longer!! Either ways I think the B/Racing and the P1s looks good. Have you seen what B/Racing rims will look like on a R33? I think the B/Racing looks a bit like the Buddy Club P1 QF. www.wheelspecs.com/specs/wheelbrands/211 Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/27906-i-know-everyone-has-seen-this-kind-of-thread-before-wheels-good-or-bad/#findComment-582720 Share on other sites

Ronin 09
Here is contender number 2, but they are a bit pricy. These are the ones i really want but the cost is a bit of a factor... they are Buddy Club P1 Racing II's Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/27906-i-know-everyone-has-seen-this-kind-of-thread-before-wheels-good-or-bad/#findComment-582858 Share on other sites
Ronin 09
Inark, skylineakt, thanks for the links. I think that if the price is right, I will go for the Buddy Club P1 II's. Snowman, how long ago was that you were quoted for them? And where is hypertech?
