Help! Gtr Won't Idle And Running Stupidly Rich

Hey all,

I pulled the plumbing off the BOV's and machined up a nice plug for the recirc plumbing, but the car just won't idle. Keeps dropping to almost stalling point before it gasps back to do it all over again. Running very rich too.

Whats the problem???? Thoughts anyone????

The problem is you didn't do enough research before you did that mod. Your cars obviously not set up/tuned to run ATMO BOV

Ah ok.

Was just going through the whole intake system cleaning out the film of oil from years of EGR systems use.

Just saw the BOV test and thought the car must still run well enough for the test (see pic)

Is it normal that R32 GTR BOV's leak when they're open to atmo /w BOV diaphram at manifold vacs at idle?? - Yes it is! just saw the stats on the BOV test haha - most cars idle around 5-600mmHg.... this idicates it should start to open at not much more that 100mmHg.. Well there you go.
