Ref the other Dyno thread.. thats how you convert it.. thats why I said what's shown on the dyno graph probably isn't relative to actual torque.. I think it's some sort of different measurement called "tractive effort".. You'll have to ask our resident dyno operators..

This was the First ever Shootout in Perth in Accredited shootout mode.We updated the weather conditions for every car using the weather station on the wall so your readings were very accurate and any body that thinks the readings were wrong can fax their graph to Dyno Dynamics and they can tell you every thing i did right or wrong by the details on the bottom of the page.

I garranty that this was the most accurate Dyno comp ever in Perth.

Awesome day well organized and run.

Couldnt help notice the two highest readings came from 4 cylinder cars.....hmmmm?(stir stir)

Maybe the six cylinder tractors can compete next time!

Damn I should have turned up  Just need maybe 1/2 a psi of boost to beat that 344hp :)

was a good day

congrats to john for his 299.5hp with his stock turbo'd soarer (not flowed either) only just beaten in 2.5 litre class by big turbo/external gate equipped r33 which beat him by like 3hp hehe

look forward to the next one

So when do we see the results!?

Yeah do we have a listing of yet of all the winners and power readings? or are we still waiting for the drug test to come through?

P.S Steve thanks for your help the other day! Sly running nicely now!

Will be in the next dyno comp!!

    • Legend. I ended up finding the facebook account of the owner of the first car i sent but sadly he deactivated the account. I think you’re right in saying it’s some sort of well done custom job. Really appreciate your help anyways.
    • Totally equivalent. Stock often goes from the comp cover because that's where the actuator is also installed and the factory needs 2" of hose to make the connection - and it comes as a pre-assembled unit. They totally have a boost reference from somewhere between the turbo and the throttle(s). Oh, jeez. Just do it in M12 then. We don't actually care that much. I would expect any such AN converter fitting to rely on an o-ring or some other seal onto a flat surface under the flange of the hex**, because bolt threads are no intended to provide a pressure seal. unlike..... pipe threads. **which also requires a suitably flat and smooth surface on the turbo's boss to provide the seal.
    • I also used NP   That’s were it’s seems to be the best place to fit it? All schematic shows also that it’s should be referenced from the turbo housing. But idk, I do see high hp cars without any connection or anything to their turbos, so I really don’t know how they connect their things
    • I do have loctite 243 and 246 and a few more models. I could drill it now in place and make new threads for m12 and order an4 - m12 coupling and fit that to the turbo. Run a braided hose to the EBC which I could get a an4 to 1/8npt
