JVDSKYRINE
Okay well here is my question. If I am building a RB25 head with 270 cams and valve springs and retainers with adjustable cam gears. If I plan on not using the vct do I still need to feed the VCT with oil? In all the threads I have read they show ways to get oil to the VCT but no one talked about if you are not using the VCT does it still need oil run to it or not? Sorry I am having troubles understanding the VCT. If the answer is yes there is lots of info on how to get oil to it. And also if you are using agressive cams and upgraded everything else is there any benefit to running vct? or is it useless? Adriano
Either mx-5's or evo 10's have electronic vct, and its completely variable. I would be looking down that path rather than the on/off rb25 style.
