Looking For Good Mechanic In Or Near The Gold Coast

Hey guys,

Any recommendations for good mechanics near the Gold Coast with experience in Stagea's and/or Skylines? In particular I need to diagnose a transmission issue, a vibration issue and a suspension issue, but I would like to find someone who can spend a decent amount of time with the car and give it an in depth inspection and have a proper idea of any problems there might be. I've done all that I can do myself in terms of testing and diagnosing.

Cheers.

Go and see Ben at Gold Coast 4wd/ Ultimate Performance: he is my mech (i've been using him for the last 3 years), and GreenGhost uses him as well: He knows Stags/Skylines very well, and is a really good guy to boot.

It's on the corner of Jaygee (ct?) and Spencer Rd, Nerang. Ph (07) 55960668

Hope that helps!

Micah

Oh: and come to the Stagea meet on the 20th September

He's pretty damn good: I think I'm forcing him to become a stagea specialist! It's worth dropping by and having a chat with him: I have been more than happy with him for the last 3 years, and I'm not the type of guy who has a high tolerance for stupidity when it comes to work on my cars...

Like I said: he's my stag maechanic, and I have absolutely no issue with recommending him. He's clever too: I haven't thrown a problem/question his way that he can't sort out.

Does he do transmissions as well? I think if we convince more Gold Coast stag owners to see him he'll have to become a specialist!

Exactly my point!

He's a good all-rounder: he deals with 4x4s and imports, and the balance is definitely moving towards the import side... As far as trans work goes, you're best off talking to him (i know he can rebuild etc, but not sure whether he prefers to outsource or not): drop him a line, or swing past (and take a look at my stag and my V35 :) they're in getting work done at the moment)...
