Ok this is a '94 GTS25-T Type M, and I'm wondering if it has a body kit - it looks pretty stock except for the f-bar and the rear-wing...but then again it's a Type M so they might be stock too...

Anyone care to enlighten me??

Oh, and yes this is my car :-)

But it's still in Japan :-(

*Opps, yeah thanks - meant to change it to point to index.html after I wrote the page but got caught up in work! ;)*

Yup as above it has a aftermarket front bar, skirts and rear wing. All its missing is a nice 400R rear bar (about $600ish fitted) and that would be damn nice.

Heres some before/after pics of my r33 with similar side skirts (they are 400R), im leaving the front bar standard (gonna customise it) but have a GTR Copy wing waiting to go on.

Mmm..nice :D

I just added 2 better pics of the rear wing....I'm still not sure about it as it's quite big so the 400R might be an option, but then again the existing one is growing on me...aw heck I love the car even with it's oversized wing and little dents

Youve got a nice car Benm. Do you live around the Glenmore Park area??

I saw you once, you were going into Nepean Square but you parked in Penrith Pools. Do you have front seat covers with the skyline 'S' ??

I was going to put a piece of paper underneith your windscreen wiper but I saw you put the alarm on before you went into the shops so I left it.

But I remembered you plates, ( couldnt really forget ) then I saw on the aus skyline pictures website your car.

Yup everything you said is correct. I need wheels badly eh....

I park their coz their is no risk of people bashing my doors, its out in the open and their is always a constant stream of cars going past to deter any theives.

Gimme a hola next time you see me/it...

benm.... car looks very nice indeed!! I've just got a fibreglass 400R front and rear but had to settle for GTR type side skirts (4 door)

The rear isn't bad though the way it's set up for attachment is not well designed and is going to be lots of extra work. The front is really ratsh*t...pretty poor finish and nil attention to detail , whereever i've drilled a hole or made a cut i've struck dryglassfibre the thing wasn't even wetted out properly.

Are the origional Jap versions of these kits plastic or fibreglass??

The Nismo ones would definitely not be fibreglass I'd say, but I've never seen a genuine one.

My 400R bar is falling apart too (my cousin was "looking after" my car while I was living in the US). I am beginning to really dislike fibreglass kits.

Does yours actually fit properly? I'm almost certain mine is for a GTR, which has the flared guards of course, so doesn't fit at all on the back. I might have to modify it a bit.

    • Ok so after much research and talking with knowledgeable people I've got my turbo conversion done and it's all running great other than 1 small issue.  Car has remained auto with the na auto and tcm, I've used a stagea ecu with. NIstune board and everything is great other than my gear selection on the dash. It illuminates park, reverse, neutral, 3rd and 2nd. But nothing drive or what gear your in when you pop it into tiptronic.  I'm sure there is may e 1 wire in the ecu plug I need to move to rectify this. Dose anyone here have any ideas?   Cheers guys
    • Sorry I haven't been following all the detail, so you may have tried this. Does it idle with the tiniest bit of throttle you can add? You've mentioned the IACV, does it have an AAC valve and have you adjusted it at all (ie, screw the idle adjust screw all the way in, then back it out a couple of turns until idle is stable)?
    • My bad, I unplugged the one underlined in red instead of yellow before. With the car started, after unplugging the IACV (the one underlined in yellow), it idled at around 400/500 for 3 seconds before stalling. Attempting to start the car without the IACV will not start the car.   It does stutter and sputter for around 5 seconds before dying. However, immediately after starting it, you can already hear some slight sputters from the exhaust.   It won't start with the AFM unplugged. If it is when the car has already started, it stalls in a few seconds.   Yesterday, I did take some logs using Nistune of 3 scenarios. Car idling till it stalls Car idling and unplugging the IACV Car idling and removing the AFM I also have some previous logs of when the Car is idling till it stalls and when driving and it cuts. I am not really knowledgeable enough to understand what to look for. After every test, car idles rougher and rougher, until I have to stop. It will be fine the day after.
    • There is no difference between a 17x8 and an 18x8. The total diameter of the tyre needs to remain +/- the same (so you don't mess up the gearing, speedo reading, and clearance when turning front wheels..... so you just need to use a lower profile tyre on th 18 than you do on the 17. /rocket surgery.
    • I thought the same to start with. But then I thought it was one of those LCAs where the end of the ARB goes through a bushing in the LCA itself, instead of having an end link.
