1996 Toyota Supra Series 2 N/A

Price : $16,000

White

89404 Km on the clock currently

5 Speed manual

Engine: Standard jza80 without any mods what so ever

Suspension: Standard series 2 suspension that's slightly lower then the series 1 suspension

Wheels: stock alloys on Bridgestone Potenza's that cost $390 each, $1560 for the whole set. They all have approximately 85% tread remaining.

Stereo Audio / Visual: Sony deck with remote control, front USB, CD, Mp3, front AUX (for iPod and other mp3 players). Also a 12 inch slim line sub woofer with a slim box running from a Sony amplifier (all the system was professionally installed). System sounds great and cost in excess of $700. I also have the original Toyota tape deck and 6 CD stacker that will come with the car.

Alarm: immobilizer and alarm which has many features such as anti hijacking, 2 remote controls etc. Cost $380, receipt available.

Extra: The car was purchased 7 months ago from an import company for $19500. It was completely stock standard, with even the original Toyota tape player, and was only in Australia for 1 week before I purchased it. So this means that the 89XXX kilometers on the dash are 100% genuine, because cars imported within the last 18 months, by law need to have their log books sent over with them.

When the car was purchased 7 months ago, I also bought 12 months dealer warranty and 12 months 24/7 road services with it. I have owned it for 7 months so this means the buyer is covered for another 5 months. It was also registered for the first time in Australia 7 months ago so there is also 5 months registration remaining.

The number plates are being sold separately MSHEEN (machine). the car will come with other plates upon sale

Call me on 0449 561 045 for any inquiries you may have.

PICS WILL BE UPLOADED TOMORROW HAVING PROBLEMS ATM BECAUSE IM CAPPED AND I GET UNCAPPED 2MORRO

    • Hope you aren't too sore after that one, might take a day or 2 to notice yet and I guess it is a loooooong drive home. On the bright side, tube frame front end is a thing at superlap, right?

    • The chart of front pressure to rear pressure (with one being on the x axis and the other being on the y axis) is not a straight line on a typical proportioning valve. At lower pressures there is a straight line with one slope, and at higher pressures that changes to a lower slope. That creates a bend in the line at that pressure, called the knee point. If you do not change the proportionng as the pressure gets higher, you will suffer excessive pressure (at one end of the car or the other, depending on which way you look at the proportioning action) and then get lockups at that end. The HFM BM57, from my memory of previous discussions, is based on the BM57 from a different car (to a Skyline), with a different requirement for the location of the knee point and the distribution of pressure front to rear, and so is not a good choice for an upgrade on a Skyline. Here's a couple of links to some old posts, one from here, one from elsewhere. A lot of it pertains to adjustable prop valves, but the idea is the same. There are plenty of discussions on here about this issue from al the many years of people wanting a cheap/accessible option. https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/grm/learn-me-brake-proportioning-valves/236880/page1/ https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/grm/learn-me-brake-proportioning-valves/236880/page1/
