Yeah I noticed that Kim, wondered what the hell was going on! What happened to backups for the site? Surely there's a more recent one than 2008

i'm not sure yet as i've been distracted with other things. not all of us Admins are aware of the extent of the problem but i suspect a server hdd failure. i think that we'll need to have an Admin meeting to get up to date with the catastrophe

C'mon guys! Some of the peeps that went to the last JB day, come out again and learn even more about your car and improve your skills. It's a great day out on the track and best of all, no need to worry about police! Do it safely and legally

i am glad to report that we will have an R35 GTR with us - my mate Nick has had the first service done on his and is looking forward to unleashing the R35 out there. i had a drive in it today and it sounds awesome from inside the cabin.

Great news Kim! Should be a great turn out, how many coming in total between SAU and SASupra?

I notice you're on the SAU list, Supra still not ready?

Supra is almost ready! I got it back on Thursday after a month in the workshop but it's been so long since i last drove it properly (eight months!) and it'll take me a while to get used to it with all the new mods that i'll be taking it easy for the first few sessions.

OS Giken twin plate, sway bars, and Endless semi-race pads along with new wheel bearings, oil cooler ducting, and lots of little reliability upgrades.

brakes could be bigger though - only have 340mm 4-piston fronts on so nothing fantastic.

Oohh... sounds nice Kimmy! Managed to get it all engineered in the finish?

unfortunately, no. wasn't not enough time to get the engineering done, pass Regency, and have it all back together for this trackday.

plus i need a few days to get used to driving this car around again and bed the new brakes in. so with work and everything else the next two weeks will pass by quickly enough. the V35 auto and the Subie daily are a lot different to the multi-plate clunking short shifting suspension creaking Supra!

any thoughts on where to go for a post trackday beer + schnitzel to wait out peak hour traffic to home?

need a pub that would suit most people (northern & southerners) and has a decent car park.

    • Hello!  i just finished manual swaping my r34 skyline with a r33 rb20de box(RB71C)box  When the car is running it squeaks crazy loud and it was smoking from the gearbox area. The gearbox is fine it was tested. The clutch slave cylinder seems like it doesn't fully releases the clutch. I want to ask if this noise is from the throw out bearing or could it be the clutch assembly or disk att.xFliq87Gzw6kImKBVqDebXkj0fBqymk0JaYeP3_3SlM.mp4
    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
