Or when we first met up on that nice cold night at maccas down on canterbury road for one of the first ever Sydney SDu meet. Only like 7 skylines rocked up but it was all good with the old school people.

Ahhh still remember that night. And now any skyline meet you have over 40 people 8O

Yeah the original parra park meetup was quite small I think. That canterbury I will call the official I reckon. It was a beautiful night I can remember so vividly. Hey didnt you get bitch slapped that night? Danny so did the cruise pull over when they saw you have that accident?

What exactly happen bro?

LOLOL    We kept cruzin bro   - i had such a rush after the little touch up-(doing a 360 spin, sliding around) i did burn out for the boys and girls all night in the car park   and went home with MYGTST and MisS13- we got lost for 30 minutes trying to find our way out of the GONG

Hey guys,

Just a little request, I am paying for the hosting for these forums so if it gets a bit much, I may request that you just keep it down a bit..

i hope thats ok.

Christian

Well I won't go overboard if you don't go all nazi on my ass and have bs excuses as to why being Australian should somehow limit my input in any way shape or form. Also I'd like to be able to be able to offer financial support if required, but not if required purely to be able to post. I would also request that the ideals of free speech be upheld within reason, I believe all Aussies should have cold beer in the fridge, tight-ass tuesday should extend to everyday, that nations cup should get more coverage than the V8s, vegemite should be banned with no execeptions, I ...

Holy crap lost the plot for a sec there. But I'm sure you know what I mean. By the way can I moderate something? Please, I'll be good

Squizz how much is the hosting of this site? I will contribute if you like no probs. EIther pay pal or just give your account details and I am happy to help out. I lik ethis idea and really want this site to be our new home.

I want all of you to PM all the SDU people you know and bring them hjere please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    • Hope you aren't too sore after that one, might take a day or 2 to notice yet and I guess it is a loooooong drive home. On the bright side, tube frame front end is a thing at superlap, right?

    • The chart of front pressure to rear pressure (with one being on the x axis and the other being on the y axis) is not a straight line on a typical proportioning valve. At lower pressures there is a straight line with one slope, and at higher pressures that changes to a lower slope. That creates a bend in the line at that pressure, called the knee point. If you do not change the proportionng as the pressure gets higher, you will suffer excessive pressure (at one end of the car or the other, depending on which way you look at the proportioning action) and then get lockups at that end. The HFM BM57, from my memory of previous discussions, is based on the BM57 from a different car (to a Skyline), with a different requirement for the location of the knee point and the distribution of pressure front to rear, and so is not a good choice for an upgrade on a Skyline. Here's a couple of links to some old posts, one from here, one from elsewhere. A lot of it pertains to adjustable prop valves, but the idea is the same. There are plenty of discussions on here about this issue from al the many years of people wanting a cheap/accessible option. https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/grm/learn-me-brake-proportioning-valves/236880/page1/ https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/grm/learn-me-brake-proportioning-valves/236880/page1/
    • Yeah dunno why johhny posted that here with no context, just post on FB/insta bro where he put it up?  Laine had an off at T4 during Thurs prac, he's ok, car is less than perfect, they are done for the weekend, he can fill in the rest. Bando also binned it like 100m up the road.
    • I feel there must have been a FB/insta post and the weekend did not start well at all I hope everyone is all okay
