Hahahahahahahaha - you smartar$e!

For those not privy to what happened, Luke and I did a wedding in our GT-Rs yesterday and were waiting for the groom and groomsmen to get themselves organised with about 30 min before they were due at the wedding, when they discovered all their shirts needed ironing and they didn't have an iron, an ironing board, or anyone who knew how to iron...

its a nice top, all red with a small emblem, while you see all these other people walking artound with DC logo's all over their shirts...just a but weird imo.

3 bad combinations right there Jake:

Hindley Street, 2.30am, emblem...........easier to place a target on your back with a message saying, "Please King Hit Me".

Def not right, but unfortunate reality that too many naive peeps get wrong over and over.

PS: Don't waste your 17 cent phone call to the manager Jake, he'll die laughing unfortunately.

I know the owner of the London. He also owns the walkers and the largs pier. Quite a tosser too. They wouldnt care about one person sadly.

I dont go to town anymore, esp hindley st. Last time I was there some abbos were throwing beer bottles at me simply cause I said happy new year. On the flipside I ended up in some bikie pub, pissed out of my skull at 4am. Felt safer there than any place in the city that night (and considering the dude sitting next to me was a hells angels nomad thats saying something)

= truth.
'Ken oath Mitch, town is just wack these days. I reckon last time I bothered was a good few months ago, the night I met my missus incidentally

lol the guy that lives next door to me is an old hells angels member. shown me his 9 sec drag bike that he's giving to his son on his 21st bday

told me that 'he's got my back if ive got his' lol hes a top bloke though, offers me a bong everytime i see him (knowing i dont smoke :) ) so caring haha

Yeah, i guess i am kind of naive to think that people are civil in Australia Sled, If that guy you know Dohmar, who owns the London tav, really is a person who doesnt take criticism onboard to try and make things better, guess I wont bother.

After thinking about it a bit more, should have just grabbed that Quiksilver top that was next to it instead in the wardrobe.

All a learning process.

that sucks Dave, had a kitten for a year, and when it died..yeah shit wasnt good.

you'll be right mate.

Fkn man united haters. I tell ya what, not being let in to London tav last night because i had a logo on my top, its 10cmx10cm and the guy said because its a logo, you cant come in. DOUCHE, asked to see the manager and he was busy. im complaining monday about it. Walkin down Hindley at about 2.30, and this scum west ham supporter comes up to me and starts yelling f..k manchester u fkn poof, softie, yada yada yada, takes a swing at me in front of cops..idiot. and then a guy on the bus was chattin to be about football..and some dude just decides to smash him unconscious.. not an awesome way to spend 4.45am on grote street dealing with cops and ambos.

and worst of all is that i didnt find any decent females.

you follow Man U....thats asking to be hit isnt it.....but then again isnt most football supports follow Man U.....

GO U GUNNERS

    • Thanks for doing that Duncan! Makes you a good person in my books. We don't get kangaroos or wombats here. But we have bats and it's similar. AFAIK it's often the mums with a baby attached that get hit because they drop lower when starting from a tree. If you hit an animal, check on it. https://www.ifaw.org/au/resources/wildlife-rescue-app An app to get the closest wildlife rescue contact.
    • My dream is also to have a proper hoist, but I don't think it will ever happen. My quickjack is probably as close as I'll ever get, it really is very good though.
    • Yeah we keep on in the dailies, it is pretty poor how many animals get hit and the driver leaves without checking....have saved a couple of little ones over the years. Bit of a gruesome job though, pouches generally need to be cut open because they are so tight and often the joey doesn't realise mum is gone so they are still locked onto the teat. I checked the modules in front of the DS wheel where an oil cooler should go.... There is the radar unit - that can go for race use) One of the 2 HX water pumps, the silver cylinder. That needs to be kept but might be able to be relocated But the bad news, the big computer mounted vertically in front of the wheel (blocking any potential air exit) is the electric steering computer. That is required until/unless i do a hydraulic steering conversion, and in CAD based modern car design it is not like I can just pop a big unit like that somewhere else (plus the loom would be too short anywhere else too). So, the passenger side is OK to clear out (just use a smaller washer reservoir, potentially elsewhere), but the DS no beuno
    • Well, all the best with the new camry It was interesting to hear about the UK process, it is generally a lot more streamlined here with a shipping agent looking after all the import side (noting the exact final price can still be a surprise.....) and I've used a few different brokers on the japan (or US) side, and never had any trouble with any of them....luck of the draw I guess. You mentioned you didn't get the auction sheet (understandable since you bought it from a dealer, not auction), but I always try and get hold of that because they are pretty thorough. I've imported 2x R grade vehicles over the years and both were fine, repairs in Japan are pretty thorough compared to here in Oz.
    • BTW I measured the jack I have, it is 70mm at the saddle but you only have about 700 until it returns to 150mm high at the cylinder so it is good but no magic bullet.
