hi guys, found a supplier in HK called Yodang Carbon Pty Ltd and I have been in contact and asked them for special group buy pricing on CF radiator cooling panels

to suit R33 GTST & R34 GTR (minor mods needed to fit to GTT)

to get it at this price, i need at least 10+ people.

need 50% deposit (rest will need to be paid before it being sent out) before it can go ahead to prevent people from backing out last minute and stuffing it up for everyone else.

i have a sample on the way over to fit my R34 GTT and i will have pics up to show fitment & quality.

sample photo i received from the supplier is below.

start date: 17/10/09

end date: 1/12/09

1.5~ months duration for the group.

pricing: for 10 people (5x R33 GTST, 5x R34 GTR)

$70 + $5-$10 postage aus wide via registered auspost.

currently USD is 92c~ hence the cheap pricing.

thanks

Do they make anything else? Can you get them to make other things in carbon? Personally im holding out on the PSI parts full length cooling plate. However these are a very good price so you shouldn't have drama getting 10 people.

Hi PM-R33,

thanks for that,

they do make other things and can make anything in carbon if i send them a sample (ie: interior trims etc) but i won't be doing that until i receive samples to show how they fit before i organise group buys.

:) Ah - Hem, how minor ? look forward to seeing the pic of your R34GTT, I'm interested as long as I don't need a course in bodywork to put the thing on :) .

Should maybe consider for the R34GTT ? there's a few of us out there.

I saw a post a while ago about radiator panel thingos like this being unbenificial did anyone else catch it ?

Will be watching this also, very keen.

Does anyone know if normal Radiator Cooling Panel's need to be modified to fit the NISMO / Altia front bar?

thanks for the interest guys.

BASHO/R34GTTTTT; not sure but i dont think its that much different from a standard GTT, issues would be fitting a R34 GTR panel to a GTT which i will be attempting, if it fails, i will modify it, send it back to the manufacturer and ask them to remould.

Cheers

hungryGTR, only whats listed above; thanks

08r3308; sample pics coming once it arrives.

guys; register your interest here whilst the AUD to USD is good!

PLEASE NOTE prices have been updated; the manufcaturer was able to work out a special pricing on shipping so it brings the units down to $60ea + post ($5-$15 depending on your location)

They have them available for S14 & S15 also so if you are interested in either, please let me know.

Cheers

:P

Any difference between the R33 Series 1 and 2?

takes 1 month to make & get delivered to me in Sydney.

not sure about any differences between s1 & s2, can anyone confirm ?

flyz33, at this stage i got around 3/4 people interested.

in order for it to go ahead, i need to confirm 10ppl who are definitely interest & with deposit first.

cheers

    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
    • Yeah mate, never miss it.
    • Any going to watch World Time Attack at SMSP this year?
    • Appreciate the correction on the "ground", that will make a huge difference to looking at this. That makes complete sense about AF70/AF71 which is what I had come down to being the issue, one of these. I'll have another look in the ignition wiring when I get a chance next week. I'll also make up a jumper wire for running that AF73 test.  ECU is fine, relay itself is fine, pump harness is fine and the pump itself is fine. I am going to upgrade the Walbro 255 anyway with a DW300 I have since I need to replace the fuel sender and I'm going to upgrade the FPR with my chasebays kit ready for new plenum/injectors/dbw, but I'll get this working first. That's why this is so frustrating.
