Howdy,

My mate and I considering having a mould made of his body-kit from his 33 GTR so we can reproduce it and I can get one on my GTST. We are looking at getting the mould done in Brisbane early next year and producing a copies soon after. I am posting this thread so that if anybody is interested in having a copy made up for themselves they can express it and let me know at: [email protected]

We are YET to determine prices for the whole process and are willing to post interstate. More information such as costs, payment etc will be posted at a latter date. I am simply getting the word out early so people can think about it.

Kit Includes:

Front Bar

Side Skirts

Rear Skirt

And possibly the rear wing at this stage.

We are willing to sell separately..

Cheers

Haro.

Yep, PM sent.

Would like to know about the quality of the parts though, I'm picky with fit and finish.

Will they be as good as other after market stuff like at jetspeed and carmate.

Or will they even better like the kits at nismo.com.au (Unique Auto sports).

Keep us posted,

(excuse the pun)

Steve.

Hi,

thanks for the interest, I to am very fussy about quality and ease of application, so once we get these things done early new year, i will go through the process of fitting them and i will let you and everybody know how it was and how they came up.

If anybody is interested, please let me know as once these things are good to go , i can get in touch with u all and get the ball rolling..

Cheers

Haro,,,I don't mean to be rude or to be a damper on your great idea,,but with only 2 posts on our site I think you are going to find it just a little bit hard to get a lot of interest. Try posting on our site,,,so people get to know you before posting such an undertaking.

51jay is right as well,,,a GTR kit will not fit a GTS-T.

Neil.

Hi Sentric dancer,

The prices will come to you as soon as i know them myself...early next year.

To 51jay and Neil,

Cheers for your advise guys (no offence taken) , i am aware of the GTR and GTST difference and thats why we are planning on making a few changes here and there....once the first is done, we begin the task of fine tuning so it can fit the GTST easier (using mine as the test dummy).

I realise many of the users here do not know me, but im not here to stuff anybody around...im just letting u know my intentions and if people are keen please let me know.

Cheers..ill keep u all posted as to my progress in the new year

Haro.

How much you looking at just selling the sideskirts?

I may be wrong ,,but those side skirts look identical to those on the 400R kit that UAS sell for $450 a pair

HARO ,, the pics look nice ,,

    • There are black hose clamps as well if you care. Plazmaman for example sells some: https://plazmaman.com/product/black-hose-clamps-premium-quality-stainless-breeze/
    • After using a protractor for an actually accurate assessment of what is required,  and by NOT using my uncalibrated eyeball I worked out I need a 25° silicone bend from the TB ro the MAF, but, my choice was either a 30° or a 23° (23° is a weird spec), so I grabbed the 23° one from Raceworks I also grabbed 1mtr of 3" straight from Just Jap, I needed 350mm, but they only had 300mm, or 1mtr lengths....meh Also ordered a 1/2" hose bulkhead fitting from fleabay, this has a smoothish mushroom looking head (they are designed for below the water line of boats) that will fit inside the bend, the hose bit and threaded bit looks to long, but nothing that a hacksaw cannot fix if required, the hose will then just get jamed on the threaded bit up to the retaining nut Fingers crossed and the unsightly amount of hose clamps will be reduced down to 4 once all the parts arrive
    • Oil change does not trigger code 21. Code 21 is for coilpacks primary side connection. You can try to clear the code with a battery disconnect, hold down the brake pedal to drain capacitors through the brake lights with the ignition on for 10-15 seconds before you reconnect the battery. I have seen R35 coil conversion permanently cause this code with no ill effects so it might be the resistance it wants to see isn't quite right on one or more coilpacks. Could be inside the ECU, could be the harness, could be a coil. You can test it all if you want or just ignore until the car actually starts misfiring.
    • I forgot you have a Nistune ECU. Use Nistune to do all the tests I mentioned instead of faffing with 30+ year old electrical connectors. You can read MAF volts off that too, there are reference values in the service manual to tell you roughly what it should be in different conditions.
