R34 25gt Brake Pads

Recommended Posts

Hey All,

Im in need of some new brake pads for my R34 25gt, I was simply wondering if the pads are the same as an R33 Gts, both front and rear.

If not, what pads do i need

Thanks In advance

Shane

hey man i encountered this prob a few months back

pm N-DAWG, he should know the part #'s

i tried R33 GTS pads listed in the Bendix book and they did not fit.

they didnt have any listing for R34 GT Non turbo so my mechanic had to take my pads out and go measure them.

I never changed my rear pads. I know the rear brake setup on the 25GT Sedan is different.. in my case 265mm rear rotors. That makes me think that the pads "could" also be different? If your R34 has the larger rear discs like the R33 GTS then it's probably more likely they'll be the same?

I ended up doing the R33 GTSt brake upgrade front and rear. At least it's also easier to by brake pads and rotors.

I'm assuming you are using the standard non-turbo brakes (You don't own a GT-V which is the same as a GT-T)

Bendix branded:

Front DB 1308 (same as Mitsubishi Triton ute, Nissan Maxima A32, A33)

Rear DB 1144 (same as Nissan Maxima)

Hi Lindsay i went through this with my car last year best thing to do is give these guys a call and tell them you have a non-turbo R34 - they will be able to sort you out

i used them and they got my pads right on my R34 25GT 2-door

i believe you are correct in assuming the pads are the same as the R33 GTS

another good thread to go off;
