hi to everyone

I recently bought my line last week after a good year of searching aswell as browsing on these forums etc...

If you see a L-plater driving around in a r33 gimme a wave lol

just a quick question ive been trying to get a key cut for my line as it only came with 1 key...i went to the hardware store down the road and got one cut, it opened the door but didnt lock the door or start the car...

Is their a specialist key cutter around or key i can buy anyone knows of close to the city...

personally some hardware stores have no idea how to cut a key...go to a decent looking place at a shopping centre or something...the keys have to be the exact same length then the shape of the key has to be run into the design otherwise it will be to long or too short. Thats why it may not be working as it should.

Congrats on getting a skyline on ur L's. At least you wont get hassled by the cops.

And its probably a good idea too, u will get used to the power and driving a RWD car with ur Mum/DAd sitting next to you, watching that u dont go doing burnouts or try to drift around every corner. Then when you get ur P's u wont kill yourself trying to show off to ur mates who cant drive.

lolz.. foowz :)

There are TWO separate keys for the Skylines (for the 33 anyhow).. One is for the boot and doors, and you should have a separate ignition key.

p.s. blade - are you turning it the right way in the door? lock is clockwise, unlock is anticlockwise. Sometimes they have funniness problems and you may need to adjust the stopper.. i changed the barrel on mine when i replaced my door and it wasn't always working - after i reinstalled my central locking mechanism i didn't have to worry about that anymore.

does that mean you open the car door, and then have to change keys to start the car?

what about the key that only unlocks the door, and works in ignotion.. for valet parking, so it doesnt open the boot or glovebox..??

    • Out of curiosity, how do you cover up the inspection hole? Surely it doesn't sit open like that, right? With grime and dirt coming in and oil going out?
    • Hi from Canada, Both of my calipers are starting to fail. My car is a 2005 M35 Stagea ARX and I can't seem to find any parts or any cross reference caliper that would fit my car. Is there a company or a similar caliper that would fit and I could replace the OEM one. Or if anyone knows where I can find a new OEM. Any help is very appreciated. Let me know!
    • Maf is a question mark but TPS  I have set at 0.47, the fact that I’m getting proper voltage range out of it with the key on leads me to believe it’s functioning properly. I’m getting proper voltages on basically everything. I still need to look up voltage ranges for z32 maf and test that
    • Honestly no not at all, but it’s a very basic tune, it’s stock injectors q45 tps and z32 maf. Other than that it’s a completely stock base map. The file is from nistune and from my understanding if it was tune related I would be able to unplug maf and tps and it would still start even if it was a really shitty start. I have tried starting it with coolant temp, maf, and tps unplugged none of those 3 togethor or individually changes anything
