Thanks to all the information on the forum specially to Rob on his sincere way to show how to improve our cars..

Tonight we manage to make 3 passes :

[email protected] 1.52

[email protected] 1.49

[email protected] 1.43

When I came back and could see the dashboard with 9.95 I was really happy and screaming into the car... WAAAAOOO 9's are done !

I think this is the first Skyline GTR full trim that runs into 9's all boost and also with H transmission that use clutch bettwen gears.

Thanks to C-Works for the mechanic and tunning. The car still use Sunoco GT Plus unleaded fuel.

Last night we manage to make 1.39 0-60foot but I was running just for win the race to the fastest supra in Dominican Republic that goes RED and did not shift all the gears as usual and only make 10.12@131mph on that pass.

After 5 passes for fist time in our Drag history a Nissan Skyline won the GT class in my country competing against, Mitsubishi Evolutions, Toyota Supras, Ford Mustangs, Toyota MR2s, Chevrolet Camaros, etc..

Let see how fast we could go on 2010 ;)

    • Does it also misfire equally when revving?   Josh is very correct in what you should do. The coilpack harness wiring loom itself is a known problem due to its age and the number of heat cycles it has gone through. Throwing parts at a vehicle to diagnose the issue isn't a smart or good way to do it. Secondly, you may have a bad coil pack, you pop replacements in, they fix that issue, but messing with the harness breaks it, so the issue persists. So now you think "well it wasn't the coil packs" and have to continue chasing your tail, potentially swapping back in your shit coil packs and returning the good ones (yes, I've seen people do this because 'it wasn't the problem' and they want to save money). And suddenly, you've got two issues with the same symptoms...   Diagnose, don't use the spare parts shotgun.
