Interior Door Trim Re-color Help?

Hey guys, just a quick question.

I'm currently working on an R33 for my project car and I'm wanting to change the color of the interior door panels and pillars...

But I don't really want to get them re-trimmed in leather or vinyl etc. I live in Tassie so things like that are expensive for me.

Already got full leather interior minus the doors, pillars and floor (not doing floor =P) any suggestions as to what I can do?

Not sure about that vinyl paint in pressure pack as a friend did it and it seemed to scratch and rub off easily.

I'm pretty handy with the HVLP spray guns, but i'm no spray painter |>metal engineer actually ;-) <|

If a re-trim is my only option though then so be it, but thought I'd ask just in case.

That vinyl dye shit from VHT works awesome, sometimes you need to run over a few layers for the color to set in properly, and you need to let it dry properly but it does work.
