Ten Four
Bought new a few months ago and freezes when it wants to, like it freezes then its fine but intermittedly every second. Today, its been going 4hrs and its absolutely pissing me off. We had a 32" TV before this and was fine, just sits as a spare now... EXPLAIN PLZ! GODZ1LLA
I would go with set top as freezeing as my foxtel sometimes does this too... Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/302500-why-does-my-tv-freeze/#findComment-5016947 Share on other sites
Stinky Rooster
at $3K I would think the HD tuner would be built in, but that may still be your problem. It could also be your reception getting a bit dodgy. Any buildings going up near you atm? Or your antenna may be on its way out Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/302500-why-does-my-tv-freeze/#findComment-5017307 Share on other sites
Ten Four
Its built in. Samsung series 6 LCD TV. I'm also going to guess reception. We're in Darlington - 15mins from Midland. Foxtel works perfect. However, when foxtel was installed, the guy said this area had heaps good reception. (High up on hills). I suppose it's possible the antenna is stuffed though... Suggestions? Stinky Rooster
about the same here. I think I paid $180, and that included a new mast, new antennae and 2 ariel points inside my house. TV and STB hasn't missed a beat since. I used the antennae guys that advertise in the local newspaper, (the anternna man, i think they are called?) but can thoroughly recommend their service Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/302500-why-does-my-tv-freeze/#findComment-5018632 Share on other sites

Crackfox
Could be some sort of interferance? When my neighbour did renovations some of the powertools screwed with the TV reception badly. Does it do it for DVD's/game systems as well? Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/302500-why-does-my-tv-freeze/#findComment-5070082 Share on other sites
