340awkw i get 200km/tank flat.. no boost..

Dude I thought my car was bad. I can understand if you're on constant boost. Are you sure all the usual culprits have been tested? O2 sensor, oil filter, injectors, fuel filter, AFR, you're not leaving the handbrake on :(?

I'm curious whats the consumption like for those 1000hp cars... hahaha.

There's a reason those cars need 200L/hr fuel pumps

lol everythin is workin fine.. its partially my choice.. lol told the tuner no compromise.. haha but its city driving tho.. not highway :) only part i sacrifices was top end power for mid range

18L/100km... thats shit! But I suppose if you're running high hp, you can justify that.
lol terrible... i have about the same power as you and last tank got 420km.

Before the tune it was doing about 500km per tank, so extra 100kw in the tune and only lost 80km per tank, pretty good.

280rwkw here, 450-500 CBD style driving, 600-650 freeway. I don't expect that to change with 330rwkw, because if you are just crusing around power output should make zero difference.

My fuel filler cap literally leaks when going around tight corners, so im probably losing a litre or two each tankas well (i can see it pouring out lol).

So I could probably get more if i wanted... I'll be doing a Syd run in Feb/Mar so ill find out exactly what i can do provided i don't get to excited on the way up hehe

Oh, and im not using O2 sensors either.

Big difference between no compromise tune and one that is just crap.

And honestly, you can have perfectly good power level/response and reasonable economy @ the same time.

200km's is 50 1/4. Fk that... You win the worst tune award - i'd be taking it back.

Something must be wrong then with my 33.

its even a sedan and its only reaching 360 a tank.. and its stock like a rock. ive had the o2 sesonsor and everything checked i still can not find a reason to why it would be doing this...

ive got an r34 gtr and think the fuel consumption isnt that bad, i dont have exact figures because i tend to fill up whenever i feel like so sometimes when i have a quarter of a tank or other times a little less. it seems to only use a little bit more than my old r34 gtt. and i know the fuel consumption can definately be better it runs very rich. id say i would get roughly from just adding up the km in my head and from when i filled it up till now because ive only been to work and back plus this is in stop start traffic ive traveled roughly 300-350km and still have a quarter of a tank left.

ps. thats still giving it a squirt here and there.

Doesnt matter mate. Just reset your meter when you fill up and note how much you travel and top up the next time. You'll be able to work out a L/100km or km/L consumption easily.

A tank consumption isnt always accurate because you dont know how much L you've used, unless you run it till it stop.

finally got figures for my r34 gtr, driving was a mixture of everything: stop start traffic, freeway and of course giving it a squirt here and there. all it has is a catback exhaust and my average is 14.1L/100km, if i kept going i could of easily gone 400km to a tank.

    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
    • Yeah mate, never miss it.
    • Any going to watch World Time Attack at SMSP this year?
    • Appreciate the correction on the "ground", that will make a huge difference to looking at this. That makes complete sense about AF70/AF71 which is what I had come down to being the issue, one of these. I'll have another look in the ignition wiring when I get a chance next week. I'll also make up a jumper wire for running that AF73 test.  ECU is fine, relay itself is fine, pump harness is fine and the pump itself is fine. I am going to upgrade the Walbro 255 anyway with a DW300 I have since I need to replace the fuel sender and I'm going to upgrade the FPR with my chasebays kit ready for new plenum/injectors/dbw, but I'll get this working first. That's why this is so frustrating.
