hey there, been searching but couldnt find anything though whats the max camber on the fronts and rears of a r32 gtst stock arms.

also while im on the topic of suspension, are r33 lca's a straight fit into an r32 model or is there any modifying?

cheers guys,

I don't know the stock camber on the front and rear at stock height. It varies depending on the height of your car a little.

My car is on TEIN Superstreet suspension wound as low as they go, and the fronts are reading about 1degree, twenty something minutes each side.

The rear on the other hand is a bit over two and a half. I'd really love some adjustable arms to fix this up.

The R33 front LCA's I've been told will fit, and will give you a little bit extra lock and also a bit more camber. Yet to try it out though.

as said camber will depend on ride height

im pretty sure std front will be around 1.25 deg neg

r33 LCA do fit straight up to r32 i had 2.5 deg -ve once they went on with a ride height about 345mm i think

rear you add camber pretty quick as u lower the car

cool thanks for your input guys, helps heaps! yeah i just realised the height of the car factors in aswell.

im running r33 lcas and have around 2.5 degrees at the front. The rear is set about the same height and is at 3.5 degrees. This is with all non adjustable arms..

nice, got any pictures if you have taken any?

i have r33 control arms... they are straight fit. they can give anywhere from 2.5 to 3 deg neg camber, depending on height.

the stock arms are not adjustable, how it is is how it is... and camber will be should be neutral at standard height.

to change the camber you'll need adj arms or offset bushes..

alot of people are running r33 lcas as they push the track out 15mm more, allowing wider wheels, and more lock..

sydneykid says these hurt bump steer and doesnt recommend doing it, instead change the camber at the top arm only, or set the the top arm 15mm out to push everything out and then adjust camber from there.

  • 3 weeks later...

sorry meant ball joint.. the 33 joint is thicker than the hub on the 32 so just press out the 33 ball joint and replace it with the 32 one... i have fitted 2 sets of these to both my current car and my first 32.. i figured this out the first time when i realised it wouldnt fit

    • Don't even try to run it on the stock ECU if you're going to have the boost controller bring boost above ~10 psi. I've already told you that. If you use the Nistune ECU, you will need to CAREFULLY read the available documentation for Neo tuning, and read some threads on the Nistune forums, to discover the various things you have to do to prevent the ECU from going bananas when the boost is too high. The is a table associated with th boost sensor that must be modified to prevent it from shitting the bed. This is just one of the things that you will need to do to the tune in Nistune, because the Neo turbo ECU will be expecting to see a number of things (such as the TCS) that are not there, and you have to block the DTCs on those. It is totally not surprising to me that you are having the problems that you are, but the solutions to these problems have been known for >15 years. So just get it done.
    • Hi. Sry iam not a mechanic and iam not at the car atm so i dont know 100% but they told they measure those and even try to change those. AFM they have two. Coils are new a they have my old one too. Plugs too. ECU...we have 25 NEO stock and Nistune 25 NEO.   But i dont know if any one those could be the problem and why/if/what can cause this, Only thing they did not check is fuel...but that walbro 255 is new(like 1,5 years)... That fuel pressure gauge idk...but i let them know Any suggestions?   EDIT: how can they know if it is like you say he ECU pull power when it reaches a specific boost level that is too high? Tha car has boost controler
    • Can you clarify what you mean by boost cut, do you mean it misfires both when under load (driving) and when stationary and out of gear? Or does the ECU pull power when it reaches a specific boost level that is too high (boost control issue)? Does it occur at idle with no throttle? When you say "the ECU is OK", what ECU is it and why do you think it is OK? Have you used the NEO ECU, and if so do you have a MAP sensor attached? Same for the AFM, why do you think it is OK? Do you have any way to put a fuel pressure gauge on it (even just a mechanical one between the fuel filter and fuel rail)?
