i dont know, but its a good start. Quality over quantity. in 03, they had someone at the entrance to the pavillion checking everyone in. so i guess they would turn you away and give you your money back. or better yet. keep your money for wasting their time. i would. id probably throw in a "lol" for good measure

yeah i know what you mean Wil. but the reality is, if they get number similar to last year, they will be accepting all the entries plus more just to fill the pavilion.

yeah right. the last one i entered in was 2003, so things may have changed abit since.

i did notice that the car they had at the entrance of the show is almost always guaranteed peoples choice award. maybe its to work out who they want to win that?

If you have any idea's for the display for SAU-SA please let me know or put them up on this thread .

Depends on the area allocated to us. But I'm thinking of ramming the japanese theme down their throat

I was thinking mechanics workshop make some cardboard tool chests or something

Excellent! Yep, I agree ... I've got some props too:

compressor and spray painting gear, tool chest, mig welder etc etc.

Who's got a stand-out brake package? We can jack their car up and show off the brakes.

oh my reply to a standout brake package didn't get added :)

we could look @ Blue32 possibly or Willall Racing possibly

but im guessing both would be a very big ask

gee that might sound like the nissan is a bad car, needs to be wrenched all the time ???? which we know isn't the case

maybe more like hot pits instead of english mechanic style ?

or better yet, like the garage cafe in melb? F & F style?

    • I live in Thangool I cannot buy E85 fuel there or Biloela not many servo's sell it Rockhampton the  Ampol in Gracemere won't even sell 98 , it's hard to own a high performance car in CQ and NQ .
    • Sounds like a good excuse for a trip to Australia! But yeah, trying it out is probably the best way to go about it. Please report back what you find.
    • Well as I will have both S1 and S2 front parts i will see what works best out of the two. Im not fussed if i need to drill extra holes, and im a big fan of Nutserts/rivet nuts and a nice painted dome head bolt as a way to hold stuff in place where plastic clips have broken and are hard to source new ones
    • Yeah truthfully it seems like the headlight supports for the ALTIA and S2 should be the same, but they aren't. I can only guess that the grill area of the Altia bar is different to the grill area of the S2 bar. Either that or it's due to the S1 bar having an angle up to the center bar that the Altia doesn't, or something. That said, I recently bought an Altia bar myself, and I fit it over the S1 brackets and thought "Yes, this will all work fine" so even as I doubt my own words as I post, I also daresay you'll be okay.
    • Me too. Apparently the new version of Invision will allow some customisation so look forward to a 'Love' reaction and a new 'Like' icon.
