I have a R34 GTT with a Hypergear turbo.

The thing is that i still have the stock dumb pipe.

How much horsepower can it handle?

Which elbow - The intake after cooler you mean?

Or the intake to the turbo?

You shouldn't have an issue with any bolt on type turbo's.

Few people running around IIRC with 280rwkw through stock after-cooler piping (using factory return/flow style cooler setups)

Before turbo however you might need a metal pipe, there are some DIY posts in the Fab/DIY area, often it can suck closed once you upgrade turbo

Dump pipe - you'll be needed to upgrade that mate.

Even with the stock turbo there are benefits to upgrading the exhaust dump off the turbo.

Can it make any damage?

Or will it make the car not feeling fast?

Or problems with boost?

for the $200 it cost you mught as well replace it, its just a restriction which will restrict the turbos ability to make the power it should

There is no point upgrading turbo, and using the factory dump of the R34 GT-T - it's as simple as that mate.

It's not a question of damage, its a question of doing it correctly.

The added back pressure is going to cause added heat & stress on the motor, turbo and all things concerned. Add to the fact backpressure will limit power output and increase missfiring/detonation.

Change it.

yeah change it , its like upgrading everthing up to that point then blocking off the exhust because not enough flow can get through
