Hey everyone, tried doing a search but couldn't find much at all.

I'm wondering if anyone knows where I can source these from locally and how much you've seen them going for.

To buy genuine from Japan is going to cost an arm and a leg.

I got replica Z-Tune skirts and rear pods from Bodyform Aero in Sydney and they were extremely good quality but unfortunately they don't have the guards.

Any help would be appreciated!

R34 GT-R Z-Tune front guards cost $440 all up

There have been problems at JSAI much of last year.

Hopefully he's over them now - hopefully.

Quality of workmanship had been good.

i didn't think anything had changed with the JSAI situation?

EDIT: seems the website was updated a couple weeks ago, seems he's still in business. Hopefully things are back to normal

Thanks Terry for the info, I emailed you a couple of days ago, not sure if you got it.

I'm a little weary with buying from JSAI after hearing about the issues people have had lately with not receiving parts or refunds.. and also not being able to contact them easily.

I'm in Melbourne so wouldn't be able to go there if anything were to go wrong.

If only Bodyform Aero made them, they were a breeze to deal with.

Maybe I'll have to bite the bullet and give JSAI a try. All in the name of finishing the look of the car!

Sorry, I've not been able to get thru BigPond for a day & a half now at home. On this clinic connection, there's no PM. I do hope that all's well with Josh & his business in 2010...

...for your sake!

Keep me informed about how things are going.

I dont know how you could safely go through jsai.

I tried to buy the ztune front bar off him, ended up taking nearly 8 months.

Wouldnt reply, refund, anything, then one day it just showed up.

Without being able to contact him face to face theres no guaranty.

Even still theres been people who couldnt get there money back like this.

Id love to belive he is back to normal, but his history is just to sketchy.

Thanks everyone for the info!

Have to specially thank Terry for keeping an eye out for me and emailing me when he saw them for sale on here, I've contacted the seller and going to check them out on Wednesday hopefully!

Nathan, those carbon ones look nice but way out of my budget unfortunately :D

Interesting to note that they come with the extra vent compared to the original z-tune style too.

    • I can see between the water jacket and cyl 3 there wasn't a hard line of combustion gas. It certainly appears that the issue is coming from there. Yes, checked the tension. All at 100ft lbs where I set them 5 years ago. These blocks can crack but generally when they have been over bored. Mine is only 0.5mm oversize at 89.5mm. They break between cylinders around the 91mm mark. No sign of that with mine. My gut feeling is the head gasket lifted a while back when the studs stretched and i bandaided it by retorquing the studs. It's finally let go.

    • So, version 4 intake is on its way I was looking at these a while ago but at around $200 or more it was a little pricey for something that might not work, but, I had it in my watch list, but, I got a message saying it was on special, and I had a code thingie to use, it eventually came in at $120 delivered, so BAM, BUY NOW.....LOL I'll need to have a look when it arrives but I feel it will "look" better than what I currently have, as it comes with a PCV fitting, so I will be able to get rid of the alloy pipe that goes to the throttle body with the PCV fitting  Well, that's what the voices in my head are telling me  Oh, and this happened today Yeap, it was a Trojan, and it was cheap, so I headed back to the hardware store and actually spent a little bit more on a heavy duty,  one that was actually recommended by a plumber mate, a Cyclone one with a fibreglass handle that is actually rated for clay The broken shovel will eventually be "modified" into a short handle shovel
