Ill be there! Well as long as my stag is ready to go, dam transmissions, thanks again for the trans Ruby!

No sweat! :) Hope you enjoy the box ... with the free new solenoids and stage 2 shift kit :)

Don't forget what I said about the sensor that goes into the top of the box. Have your mate test that particular sensor too, prior to fitting my old box ... tho I reckon it is your solenoids gone. :)

Haha, good to see you guys actually have a sence of humour, unlike some forums I've been on.

Quick rundown, I'd be keen for a cruise, fingers crossed I can pick up the Stag in time for it though. You will more than likely know Ben, unsure of his forum name, but rego is SRS260 (pearl white 260RS). Got a deposit down, and hopefully get my grubbly little hands on her soon hehehe. Be good to meet some of you as I'm relatively new to the Nissan world, (I own a 1988 GZ20 Soarer with 1JZ swap and T04S single turbo, hence the name JZZ20).

So yeah, just a bit of an introduction and hopefully can meet up for the cruise :D

...side note... which is it officially? 260RS or RS260 ?? :S

Congratulations on the purchase mate! :D

Yes, Ben (GRIM) and Janene (Nene260RS) (and bubs) are really good mates of mine. Good to see the white 260 stayed local. Nene is also our Club Treasurer (I'm the Club Secretary), so it'd be good to get some more Stagea owners on the club members list (hint, hint) :P

The official name for your new ride is Stagea "260RS".

I'm sure Ben and Nene will be out in the Black 260 (RRS260) and I'll have mine there too (RRS250), so you can catch up with amples of Stagea fans on the day.

To all,

I will PM you all a map and meet point in the near future. :P

Any idea on date yet?
Right, given the responses, I'm thinking of locking in a cruise in early March. Say sunday March 7th, meet 10am for 10.30am departure. Location and cruise route to be advised.

It'll be a nice 2 hours drive with what I have in mind.

Those who are not members of the SAU-SA club, I'll be bringing along some membership forms. Stagea owners more than encouraged to join!

:D

Well I've been approved on the loan, but I have a Holden VT Berlina under finance, and they want part of it payed off, or some crap, no one understands why. So once that goes through I'll head out and pick it up.

Fingers crossed it comes before the cruise. Otherwise I may just pop out when you guys meet up or something. Or if Ben lets me drive it for him :D hahaha

"Last cruise got us a record of 25 Stageas ... I want to beat that!"

count me in! will be my first, be good to see what else is out there

Ill bring the M35 out if I can get it off my wife, if its on a sunday and not to close to the all japan day I like the idea of late march. See how many M35s are out there.

But I cant come the 7th mar because that is the long weekend.

    • Ah! I actually managed to snag a lightly used set.... that aren't so suitable for me right now. They don't work on a GTT without some cutting or creative heat moulding. I thought about reselling them myself cause I didn't want to murder them, but it looks like I'm probably going to attempt to murder them/melt them because I may as well. @GTSBoy @PranK can somebody close this thread?
    • Hey mate,  I have a set, one is slightly damaged but wont be noticable once installed.  Shoot me a message if your still after them
    • I couldn't wait But, the black constant tension hose clamps were too thick and there wasn't enough clearance at the T/B and I couldn't get it to seat properly, so I had use a silver one there I also added some 3" silicone over the alloy bit that goes through to hole on the radiator support as it looked like it was sitting on the edge of the hole in the radiator support, I never noticed a rattle or anything, but there was a witness mark It is basicly done, and I can live with the silver hose clamp at the T/B, I will get a black clamp for the head vent though where it is attached to the bulkhead fitting  It never stops...LOL, only issue now with the shock tower brace is it slightly touches the under bonnet liner now, if I leave it it will either wear some paint off the brace where it touches, or damage the liner, so I removed the liner to see what I have to work with, with the liner removed I have about 20mm of clearance, but sadly the middle part of the underside of the bonnet is only dusted with paint and looks crap, so I cannot have that, but.... as I have a roll of Carbuilders premium under bonnet insulation in the garage laying around that is only 5.5mm thick (we were going to use it on the boys Patrol, but he crashed the front of it a few months and it was written off, hence why he now drives my old Honda Accord Euro), I'll use the OEM liner as a template and get the Carbuilders stuff fitted up to cover that dusted paint up
    • You have a knack for photography my friend. It makes the 86 look like a complete bucket. The 34 went with you to Europe and back. It's special. (we all feel the same about our 'shitboxes' that every bystander seems to absolutely love)
