Re-bushing Rb30 Rods & Running Rb25 Pistons

Hey guys,

For those of you running 25/26 pistons, how did you get around the 21mm gudgeon pin on the 22mm rb30 rods?

I have heard that you can get the rb30 rod's re-bushed to suit the 21mm pin. I want to run rb25det forged pistons in my next rb30dett build, but don't know what to do about this.

get some sr20 rods in there

SR20 c to c length is 136.25mm

RB30 c to c length is 152.0ish mm

?

Might as well throw in an rb20 crank while we're at it.

Any machinist should be able to rebush the rods but all rb25, rb26 and rb30 pin diameters are 21mm.

Ok, I was under the impression they were 22mm pin for rb30.

In that case I have no issue then.
