damn i envy you kye.....should be a good race to watch.....

Yeah, it's going to be pretty sick man!

Boys weekend away, so there will be plenty of drinks had. Wonder what the high pitched F1 engine will sound like while I'm hungover!?

Rosberg in the Mercedes fastest overnight on day 1 of the Jerez test. Mostly a wet day so times probably don't count for sh!t

totally agree, but the really crazy thing with even trying to relate teams times this year is fuel loads, the differance between a light load and a full load will be stupidly lagre!

For sure. Fuel economy is going to play a huge part in how they fare this year.

Thats why qualifying years ago was fkn brilliant with teams using different engine mapping alongside extra sticky rubber and of course very low fuel loads.

Enjoy Kye. The sound those things make is music to my ears any time of the day, being hungover wouldn't matter :P

I'll be sure to take photos and see if being hung over matters haha.

But I deffently agree, the sound is amazing!

spot on.....as there is no refueling it would be interesting to see how many teams limp it to the finish line in trying to squeeze more out of less fuel......but only the top 6 really will be making a charge for a race win......as most will be on same fuel loads it will all come down to how the car is chewing rubber and how good the driver is.....

quite exciting really

some very good news for a little team.....Sauber could well make the challenge for the title as well this season....i love this kids driving

I am personally very interested to see how Kobayashi will go this year.

Save a couple Rookie mistakes, he did very well in the couple of F1 races he competed in last year, possibly the best driver to come out of Japan in a very long time.

Japan needs some decent drivers. Anyone remember Taki Inoue and his constant mishaps (like managing to get hit by the frigging safety car when he was running with a fire extinguisher...)

I remember watching that race live when that happened, I pissed myself laughing because all season this dude had been stuffing up and this was icing on the cake

Many of them poor drivers have come and gone. Guys like that were only in F1 because they had $$ or had someone else paying for their seat.

Makes me wonder how they even got their super license!!!

Yes generally Japan has never sent over the driver with the best talent rather the biggest budget.

Even when the only reason there's a Jap in the car in the first place is that a Japanese team/engine supplier, has insisted that they have a one of their countrymen in the (ahem) 'second' team car, they'd still pick for the size of the wallet & not the talent.

I have been watching F1 a long time, but never remember seeing this incident. Not going to forget it now either!

theres another one, where inoue was being towed back to the pits and the pace car ended up flipping him over...

nfi how it happened - i never saw the incident but inoue was one of those guys in his seasons, where you could watch and KNOW that he'd be spinning out or crashing sometime, its almost like watching AFL/NFL/Gridiron and having a brawl break out.

Bad for the sport but oh so a guilty pleasure to watch - like longhurst punching his team mate in the head on live tv

    • A bit late but A disk S13P fit over stock R32 GTR brakes, usually A disk front, O disk rear works.
    • Or, the height of the release bearing is not correct for your combo. Start with the bleeding and checking the slave moves throughout its range when you press the pedal (2 person required), but it is possible for the height to be internally wrong too (box back off to measure.
    • Yes, there's quite a few things that can go wrong during a clutch install. Very unlikely. I have a similar clutch. They (ACS) make good gear. No, it is not normal. It is possible that you just need to bleed the clutch slave. But the new clutch will also have a more aggressive actuation force/pressure, and so your old slave cylinder might be a bit leaky or otherwise compromised, and not up to the extra force required. Or the master cylinder, same.
    • Hi...so a "development" here aswell The swap is "done" and car went "test drive" BUT it seems the clutch(maybe gearbox?) is a little bit sad? I bought this clutch kit https://justjap.com/products/xtreme-heavy-duty-organic-clutch-flywheel-kit-nissan-skyline-r31-r32-r33-push-type "Problem" is that the first gear is hard to put into and it seems that the clutch is not disengaged. It was not the problem with the old clutch...(or like sometime the first gear would not get as easy specialy when the fluid was cold) So? Can it be like...bad "install" or is the clutch wrong ((it should not have been) i done research to get the right one) Or is this "normal" with new clutch and needs to be break in?
    • @Duncan I can try  and thanks i did not thought about VIN and part numbers for 33/34. @GTSBoy yeah it looks like iam gonna do that
