well it's due here tuesday (ish) next week, I can't wait and I am sure I will enjoy it, for a while until I want to put in an RB25 with lots more grunt, but I imagine it will go well for what it is and condition wise I believe it's pretty damn well looked after.

hey guys! i was off trying to find an adapter plate today for my filter and saw a white r33 with a full veilside kit and carbon bonnet! looked allright! i never thought that the kit suited the car at all but found my self... errr

...jealous!

it looked really good

we should all catch up or something.... i really want to find out about the best workshops here... thats if there are any!

Pete That car is Pauls (Phat R33 on this forum) a good friend of mine, only got the car back on friday!

there is also a white one with a carbon bonnet cwest kit and gold rims which has huge HP (the one that Zsky spoke of)

Yeh saw that silver one yestaday too its a GTR from canberra, had a chat to him, nice bloke. has a big FMIC, Twin plate clutch and a nice exhaust seemed to go ok aswell

Me thinks that white 33 used to belong to a young fella in Hobart, he sold it a little while back.

As far as i know go to Brad at Chris Colgrave in Invermay, Advance Auto & LPG in Kingsmeadows are good for fixing and replacing stuff, i reckon they would fit an intercooler too, very good prices aswell.

Other than that there is Rotek and White Hot Racing in Devonport (can't say ive been to either but Whites build some crazy fast race cars)

And im sure Zsky and a few others could tell you whats available in Hobart

Oh and Zsky that R33 from hobart thats up here now have wound the boost right up and getting something in the vicinity of 300rwkw as far as i know

Ummm! 300rwkw :bs!: I'd love to see the dyno papers for dat. I got a good buddy with a 33GTR, 5" trust turbo back, twin apexi pods, apexi power fc Z32 air flowmeter settings, hks adjustible cam gears.

That bad boy only puts out 260-270@the wheels. No offence bro I think he may be pulling your leg a little.

Fully rebuilt Forged internal, TD06 (think got a new turbo now) and a full list of other shit its had alot of work done to it! and is bloody alot quicker than anything else about the place

I still aint buying it till I see a dyno run. He raced my mate in his GTR when it was still stock and a ****ed clutch. He only won by a bee's dick.

I drive a fairly modded TT Zed that is pretty well known down here, and he wouldn't race me.

So get the boy to dig out the papers. I wanna see this.

Cheers n that!

It is true, he got it dyno'd at red racing not long ago. 298rwkw. spent ALOT of dosh on it since it was bought.

Oh and cheers for the comment on my car! If anyone wants to check it out go to

    • I can see between the water jacket and cyl 3 there wasn't a hard line of combustion gas. It certainly appears that the issue is coming from there. Yes, checked the tension. All at 100ft lbs where I set them 5 years ago. These blocks can crack but generally when they have been over bored. Mine is only 0.5mm oversize at 89.5mm. They break between cylinders around the 91mm mark. No sign of that with mine. My gut feeling is the head gasket lifted a while back when the studs stretched and i bandaided it by retorquing the studs. It's finally let go.
    • My Nismo 1.5 churps a bit on reverse turns when cold, but besides that feels like a stock diff.
    • Yes, but, I paid cash and I'm pretty sure the receipt was in the bin 10 minutes after I got home Note to self, keep all receipts
    • Bunnings would have just handed you your money back on that one!
    • So, version 4 intake is on its way I was looking at these a while ago but at around $200 or more it was a little pricey for something that might not work, but, I had it in my watch list, but, I got a message saying it was on special, and I had a code thingie to use, it eventually came in at $120 delivered, so BAM, BUY NOW.....LOL I'll need to have a look when it arrives but I feel it will "look" better than what I currently have, as it comes with a PCV fitting, so I will be able to get rid of the alloy pipe that goes to the throttle body with the PCV fitting  Well, that's what the voices in my head are telling me  Oh, and this happened today Yeap, it was a Trojan, and it was cheap, so I headed back to the hardware store and actually spent a little bit more on a heavy duty,  one that was actually recommended by a plumber mate, a Cyclone one with a fibreglass handle that is actually rated for clay The broken shovel will eventually be "modified" into a short handle shovel
