Is anyone going to Nagoya Autotrend this year?

Any one been before? Is it worth going after Osaka Automesse or is it going to be pretty much the same stuff but in a different city?

Cheers

Thanks for the reply Gust as it helped convince me to go, it was great with quite a few cars that were at Osaka but many that werent. Here are a few photos, sorry about the quality. I am no Beer Baron or Mr Keets. Some would probably say even a mountain gorilla recently removed from its natural habitat could have taken better shots by randomly punching the camera. Also sorry about the size I only went this morning and am putting them on at the work PC. Will put some more on a bit later- including some Skylines ;)

yeah agreed! I still have pics from as far back as 06 that I still haven't gotten around to sorting and posting. :(

I have to say that lambo is one very, very tasting looking car. nothing wrong with that thing at all. :P

yeah it was awesome in that matt black, I really liked the RX7s and old Z cars too. There were many trikes on display aswell, dunno why, I havent seen many on the road in Aichi - uncountably large amounts of done up bikes with what sounds like open exhausts though - so loud makes a Harley sound like a Tesla ;)

    • Howdy all, A mate of mine picked up an R32 GTS-T recently and it had a very... colourful... gear knob that needed to be replaced immediately 🤣 I put together a replacement which is reminiscent of the Nismo offering, which I also really like both the feeling and design. I basically took what they did and optimising for 3D printing, with the exception of the top chamfer, where I prefer a filleted design, despite it not printing quite as clean. If anybody needs another thread size for the locker or if you prefer a top chamfer similar to the Nismo one, I'm happy to put something together for you and as a side note, I was really impressed by the TPU lock nuts. Originally I was going to use steel and then found out the ones I had on hand were sadly M10 1.5 pitch, rather than the required M10 1.25 pitch, so I had to get a bit creative rather than wait for the bolt shop to open. In the picture it looks a little bit 'rough' at the top due to the layering printing on a curve, but in reality it's not very noticeable at all and honestly feels pretty good in the hand. https://www.printables.com/model/910138-nissan-skyline-r32-gear-knob Regards, Sean
