Is anyone going to Nagoya Autotrend this year?

Any one been before? Is it worth going after Osaka Automesse or is it going to be pretty much the same stuff but in a different city?

Cheers

Thanks for the reply Gust as it helped convince me to go, it was great with quite a few cars that were at Osaka but many that werent. Here are a few photos, sorry about the quality. I am no Beer Baron or Mr Keets. Some would probably say even a mountain gorilla recently removed from its natural habitat could have taken better shots by randomly punching the camera. Also sorry about the size I only went this morning and am putting them on at the work PC. Will put some more on a bit later- including some Skylines ;)

yeah agreed! I still have pics from as far back as 06 that I still haven't gotten around to sorting and posting. :(

I have to say that lambo is one very, very tasting looking car. nothing wrong with that thing at all. :P

yeah it was awesome in that matt black, I really liked the RX7s and old Z cars too. There were many trikes on display aswell, dunno why, I havent seen many on the road in Aichi - uncountably large amounts of done up bikes with what sounds like open exhausts though - so loud makes a Harley sound like a Tesla ;)

    • It looks proper factory fitted. It's exactly how I would do it. Well done 👍
    • Head sold. Block returned and back for sale. Block has some damage to cylinder 6. I was too rushed in taking photos and putting it up for sale to do a proper look at each cylinder. The cylinders are all stock bore, but cylinder 6 probably needs boring out or a sleeve. Negotiable on price for block.
    • Hi. Long time. I did not drive this car to much. But problem is still there. There is no code in any program. Any idea what that should be? MAF is new original/clean one. Spark plugs/coil pack is ok. New fuel pump. All filters/oils are changed.
    • Yeah I understand what you mean, but the LS swaps I've seen done to r33s (admittedly to drift cars). You have to hammer out the transmission tunnel to fit the t56/tr6060, cut and box the drifters side firewall for head clearance. All stuff that's not terrible, but don't want to do to my cleanish gtst.  I've decided to buy the NEO and rebuild it, maybe best of both options lol.
    • What if I told you it fit easier than the RB......  Realistically it's a lot of work, but suprisingly similar IF you didn't have a R33 with literally all of the supporting accessories and electronics and manifolds and cooling ready to go. If you had literally a bare engine bay and no transmission, it'd be an apt comparison to make. If you just want to make 280-300kw all day just rebuild the RB and get a modern turbo and enjoy life.
