sounds to me like the oldschool NISMO r32 turbos.... bush bearing hense the laggyness... good turbos tho.. once they are rebuilt they have the same flow rating as a set of 2860-5s.... only a bit laggyer..

if the compressor cover has .60 a/r on it thats the turbos u have...

hope that helps :(

hay buddy

r u willing to seperat the head from the block

ill take it with all bolt ons (plenum etc) if i have to except the turbos and manifolds as they r useless to me as i have a trubo kit already

let me know if ur willing and the price.

i can organise a courier to get it all to me as well

cheers

julz

All depends what you are offering I'd really like to sell complete but pm me your offer and exactly what you require and ill have a bit of a think if the offer is reasonable but if you don't want to pay decent money I wouldn't pm me with an offer

not to sound like a cock but if I'm going to seperate the head from a perfectly good engine it would have to be worthwhile

cheers

yeah mate u actually do sound like a bit of a cock

im after a head un opened with all covers and plenum.

no turbos or anything just the head and plenum

what do u want for it ???

im not gonna f**k around with offers and private message like a school girl if u wanna sell it give me ur price as per forum rules

peace

ahhh.. if only i had the moneys and i was a full license driver...

good luck with the sale mate (if it hasnt been sold).

i'll gladly buy it if its still unsold in a few years ;)

Hey,

Just wondering if you have a spare rubber lining for the drivers side window.

Mine is split, and has a chunk missing, so its quite noisy when driving.

Cheers!

im sorry at the moment i dont have enough time to fix it given i run my own business and so on and im not going to pay a workshop to do it because it would make it way too expensive for you

the headgasket is clearly the problem with the engine and as i previously said it ran faultlessly even with the head gasket problem but on routine checkover before removal it was found

    • On BMWs what I do because I'm more confident that I can't instantly crush the pinch welds and do thousands of USD in chassis damage is use a set of rubber jacking pads designed to protect the chassis/plastic adapter and raise a corner of the car, place the aforementioned 2x12 inch wooden planks under a tire, drop the car, then this normally gives me enough clearance to get to the front central jack point. If you don't need it to be a ramp it only needs to be 1-1.5 feet long. On my R33 I do not trust the pinch welds to tolerate any of this so I drive up on the ramps. Before then when I had to get a new floor jack that no longer cleared the front lip I removed it to get enough clearance to put the jack under it. Once you're on the ramps once you simply never let the car down to the ground. It lives on the ramps or on jack stands.
    • Nah. You need 2x taps for anything that you cannot pass the tap all the way through. And even then, there's a point in response to the above which I will come back to. The 2x taps are 1x tapered for starting, and 1x plug tap for working to the bottom of blind holes. That block's port is effectively a blind hole from the perspective of the tap. The tapered tap/tapered thread response. You don't ever leave a female hole tapered. They are supposed to be parallel, hence the wide section of a tapered tap being parallel, the existince of plug taps, etc. The male is tapered so that it will eventually get too fat for the female thread, and yes, there is some risk if the tapped length of the female hole doesn't offer enough threads, that it will not lock up very nicely. But you can always buzz off the extra length on the male thread, and the tape is very good at adding bulk to the joint.
    • Nice....looking forward to that update
    • Neg, the top one is actually for the front. The sizes are 18x10.5 +18 and 18x11 +32.   I measured many times but I'm sure I'll have problems as this is the thread for problems.
