Set of four Starform wheels (these are a high quality jap copy of German BBS mesh style wheels) - see pic below.

Front 17x8", +40mm offset, 225/45 tyres

Rear 17x9", +45mm offset, 245/40 tyres

5 stud - the offsets suit R33, 200SX, 300ZX and Supra (I had them on my R33).

Excellent condition - minor kerb scrapes on a couple.

Asking $1,300 total including nuts & locknuts, but I would prefer Adelaide buyers who can inspect and collect in person.

those tyres rock!!! they are the first set of tyres i've used that hook up even when taking off with a little grunt i had dunlop lemanz and could fry em at 60km easy but no chance with the contisports....perform very well in the wet as well!!! i might snap em up for the cressi if i get a little money left ova

1/ Do these rims fit on the front, without having to 'shave' ANY part of the front calipars?

2/ Would you consider these to be a lightweight rim, or are they at least lighter than the stockies? I have 19's but am starting to do some track work, and these are too heavy and tyres are too expensive to burn.

Al - To put them on the front of my R33, I used thin spacers to avoid having to shave anything off the calipers. I can provide these if required. The rims weigh about the same as stock 16" rims, but of course the 17" tyres would be a bit heavier. I can weigh the two together and get back to you if you want.

Matt - just got your PM - I will call you tomorrow.

    • List all of your mods. It sounds like an aftermarket ECU hitting rev limiter. Like a valet mode, or a cold rpm limiter?
    • @Kapr Haha yeah thats the one. I missed that you had a built up engine, I wouldn't want to run it on there either then. It was good in my situation just to replace the original turbo on a stock engine. @MBS206Yep definitely not a replacement for anything name brand
    • You are selling this? I have never bought something from marketplace...i dont know if i trust that enough. And the price is little bit "too" good...

    • It would be well worth deciding where you want to go and what you care about. Reliability of everything in a 34 drops MASSIVELY above the 300kw mark. Keeping everything going great at beyond that value will cost ten times the $. Clutches become shit, gearboxes (and engines/bottom ends) become consumable, traction becomes crap. The good news is looking legalish/actually being legal is slighly under the 300kw mark. I would make the assumption you want to ditch the stock plenum too and want to go a front facing unit of some description due to the cross flow. Do the bends on a return flow hurt? Not really. A couple of bends do make a difference but not nearly as much in a forced induction situation. Add 1psi of boost to overcome it. Nobody has ever gone and done a track session monitoring IAT then done a different session on a different intercooler and monitored IAT to see the difference here. All of the benefits here are likely in the "My engine is a forged consumable that I drive once a year because it needs a rebuild every year which takes 9 months of the year to complete" territory. It would be well worth deciding where you want to go and what you care about with this car.
